I believe Connelly a better defender than Gabriel So with that in mind my team would be a 3 4 3 formation
Grimshaw
Connelly Marvin Thornley
Gabriel Dougall Wright Thompson
Theo Yates Provada

The reason I thing Connelly a better defender than Gabriel.Since Gabs come
back in to the team blackpool have shipped 7 goals in 3 games His just that
Coincidence l not shore. I don't think
M A would play a 3 4 3 system
 
Connolly might be better defensively than Gabriel likewise Hubby mght be better defensively than Thompson.
But if we want to be more of an attacking team then you go with your attacking full backs.
Thorniley is the best passer of the ball of all the CBs and he's a natural left footer so I'd like to see him given a start.
 
Thorniley needs to start for me, he’s not the quickest but reads the game very well and he can pass the ball from the back with accuracy. When he first arrived he was forever being caught out on the wrong side of the forward but not anymore.

We want to be more attacking but we don't want to concede 2 or 3 a game.

The rivers game was a bit worrying I thought. We seemed to have no plan for the game. It was a similar formation to Critch's with similar personnel but we got played off the park, didn't get close to them. Our players used to say how well prepared we were for each game.
 
I’d also like to see Thornley and Corbeanu start a match and see how they get on. I think Thornley is a solid defender and has a fab pass on him too

Jordan has always been suspect when balls are hit over him. I don't know if he loses the flight of the ball. Other than that a, solid defender and good passer

He certainly was when he arrived but l think he’s improved now and as you say a solid defender and passer.
