Teams are helping Pool to survive

After a performance like that, I can't believe, we're no worse off & could yet survive. All the teams around us lost but Cardiff's goal difference means we're effectively 7 points off safety.
The question to be asked is ..... what do SS, MM, the players do to find FIVE or SIX victories from the final 10 games?

It's like a distant light at the end of the tunnel, we can all see it but can't seem to get any closer. I just don't think this group of players and coaches have the ability or confidence to get us any nearer to it. A massive week ahead, I'm already resigned to our fate but 1 win could change all of that. We live to fight another day....just!

As each game passes it’s looking less likely

What I would say though is Cardiff were horrendous today and are certainly catchable

Your looking at 4-5 wins needed
Sadly it’s just not going to happen. The squad we’ve had this season in my opinion is easily good enough to be safe, but with red cards, unprecedented injuries, bad managerial appointment followed by horrendous managerial replacement, and stuff just generally not going our way, we’ve made a dogs dinner of it and will I believe be relegated.

But that’s not the end of anything, I still believe we have an owner who cares, is trying to do things properly and who will ensure we have a good go at coming back up. I’ve not forgotten the 30 years of Oyston “ do it cheap and hope to get lucky”, so I’m ok with that.

Six home games crucial. I've written off anything away.

Cardiff could easily won today they missed 4 good chances a poor team you need to play shit defensive football like us always. We always play safety first football & never taking a gamble.
We would be down with you if RL hadn’t played such boring football especially at home .
Don’t worry we will give you 3 points to keep you up .

The o/p may be correct but the sad reality is we aren't helping ourselves to survive.

Prehistoric MM and TC the tuner have been awful appointments.

A progressive, attack minded coach capable of picking the best team and formation could have got us out of this predicament.

Down to the CEO I'm afraid; two appalling appointments in one season. 😣

Score more goals than the opposition!

And no that isn’t meant as a sarcastic reply - we HAVE to start scoring and therefore HAVE to change approach from hang on to clean sheet and hope to nick one to a more risk taking, go for it approach. I for one will be disappointed if we drop but I’ll be gutted and not a little angry if it happens without at least trying harder and fighting more than was apparent on saturday!

My problem is that we just don't look like scoring and have one striker who is bang out of form!
Fully agree.
Team morale looks shattered, MM looked like a brassed off monkey on the touchline @ Bristol, only one 'none striking' striker, a non creative midfield & no one who can take a half decent set piece.
We looked doomed but the fight is still there to be won - never say never

That is the essential point. We can do the maths about every other team around us but the first point of responsibility is our own performances and results.
