Ten Worst Premier League Sides in History

I haven't looked at the list, but we're on it?

I believe ours is the second highest total to relegated since it went to 38 games? So how can they include us?

No you're right, we're nowhere near it CGP.
I think 39 has been easily enough to stay up every season since 2011
The teams listed are Swindon, Villa, Sunderland (twice, once with an at the time record low of 15 points), Derby (record of 11 points), Ipswich, Portsmouth, Norwich, Bradford, Huddersfield

39 points would have kept you up every year since 2011. in fact since the premier league began it would have been enough on all but 7 seasons and 3 of those were when it was 42 game seasons.

As for point totals for relegated sides were are far from the worst

Fuck it. We’d still be stuck with the stains heading towards non league oblivion

Just think, if the Stains had invested in a new keeper...and a fax machine, with another season in the Prem they could have 'illegitimately stripped' the Club of even more £millions. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. They were even incompetent when it came to being wrong-un's.

Don't get me wrong he was a brilliant shot stopper he made some astonishing saves. It's just that when the ball was kicked straight at him he'd find a way to miss it. He'd go under it, over it and round it he was terrifying.
It would be interesting to chat with Evo. He went apolopletic with Kingson at Bolton ironically when Kingson came to punch a cross that he just didn’t need to come for. We lost as a result.

Got to admit I think Wiz is right, it was Blackburn. In fact did we draw as a result so dropped two points ? The game was late March from memory and was the start of final descent pretty much.
Yep that was 2-2 as well with Kingson flapping at the ball, I'm sure the Bolton one was very similar - edit to say just watched the video, Wiz is right, clearly my middle-aged brain has merged the two. Either way, Kingson should have prayed harder at the start of games!

Glad we went down would have been another £100 million in the oystains back pocket

I often wonder what would have happened if we'd retained our place. Ollie at the wheel, how many would have stayed, who would have come in, would it just have been a first season bounce, would the O's realise we could be more than one season wonders and long term they'd sell the club for a fortune but give us decent owners?
I would have chanced another season in the Prem with them in charge just to see how it panned out.

Other than the I'll informed reference to orange I found this an interesting take.
