That’ll have upset a few ..

How did we reach a point where a thread gloating about a Blackpool Win is considered 'Weird', but posts referring to the Manager as a Coward (simply for being honest in an interview), regular threads slagging off individual players and generally dragging down anything remotely positive are considered to be absolutely fine.

I think you may need to change your username to 'simple-simonized'
Because Dazzer me old mate, it's because it is a divisive post and I'm sure you were the one I have been conversing with on this very subject along with others over the past 2 days and how supporters come together, for some reckon idiots to come on here sneering that some supporters will be pissed off because we won is as low as it gets, not one single Pool supporter doesn't want us to win, we want us to win every game, it was just a cheap shot that was divisive and uncalled for after a really good victory and the people who get off on that a sad individuals as far as I am concerned, lets enjoy a good win instead of being dicks about it.

We literally have to read the shyte negative 'Critchley Out' or whatever bullshit posts after every poor result herts... Simonized pretty much has a ** calender event set ready just to get in a dig at the manager or whichever player he's got an agenda against this season.. If people are going to come on and relish the opportunity to stick it right up you all, then that's up to them. 😂

I'll tell you what is a cheap shot....

THIS THREAD is almost certainly cheap shot in the immediate aftermath of a fantastic away win... Although your criticism on there is notable by it's absence😉

Tough shit.... Is my verdict on this mate.... If you can't handle the repercussions for your constant negativity, then don't give it out etc..

And yes... We all like a win, but I can't help thinking that those of us who stand by the club / manager in the bad times enjoy it just that little bit more [Smug Grin]😂😆😭

Also, have a look on the various team selection threads that we wanted to see. I've posted many times that it should be Morgan, Norburn and Byers as a three (albeit in a 4-3-3) and look what happens.

Therefore your post really should say:

Well done @a tense grin for knowing your football.
I have to be honest i think you are the most knowledgeable person of our wonderful game on this site. How can i learn from you?

I would be in the same boat with my 9 year old. He can sod off though if he thinks I'm spending 200 quid on that shit competition.
That's your call mate. I'm gonna make her as tangerine as I can. But yes, not a great comp and is expensive.

Miserable get, its all about experiences, how could he forget about a day out at Wembley with his whinging moaning miserable father moaning about formations and tactics

I get the o/p .. I do feel some have revelled in recent defeats and performances .. there does feel a strange agenda going on from some.
I certainly don't revelle in defeat and I get very pissed off about it to be honest.
You have to remember further back than the last game as it wasn't a one-off that's led us to this point.
We have a one-dimensional way of playing that doesn't work against teams that battle and scrap which our highly qualified head coach can't counter and that's the frustrating thing for the likes of me.

Praised him and the team today where it's due so I will criticise them when they let us down with abject indefensible performances.

I’m going to send the most sycophantic, gushing Twitter post into the club saying I love Sir Neil and Simon the saviour.
I’ll copy in Saint & Greavsie, Grandstand and Soccer Am too.

I might get blocked though? 😞

It works both ways 😜
For once Allez you’re correct😂
No boycotting the tinpot cup. I value our club higher than supporting a competition that has us playing under 21 teams.
good…and should we get through..a big if..I assume you won’t be going…oh I see there have been some more posts which clearly says no….
I”ll let you in to a secret that many of my age group will understand. I never expected to see us play at Wembley and then the Arms Park and Wembley again which we did…those were and still are precious moments which might never happen again so I suggest you make the most of them if they ever happen.

To be honest, I’d probably go just for him. He goes with his mum to Champions League games watching City so would be nice taking him to a final even if it’s the worlds worst final you can be in.

So just take him mate. We never know how many times if any we will get to a final. It might never happen again,!

Apologies if my o/p upset anyone, it was supposed to be tongue in cheek and didn’t think it would get 67 replies!!

No I enjoyed it. It allowed me to highlight my football knowledge by saying prior to today, Norburn, Byers and Morgan should be the midfield three. Critchley listened to me. He now just needs to play a flat back four and he might just be able to save his job.

In the words of John the Wit, the Repartee, the Master of one liners.......

"Fuck off you red nose bastard!!" 😂😂

I know certain things have been questioned about formations, but they don’t win games; players do- when I had a conversation with Simon (Sadler) during the week he reminded me of. Brian Clough said it years ago, and he was quite right.

His comments in the gazette tonight. Just what i have said all along its the players

Plenty wanted us to lose to force out the manager, as any brief perusal of twitter would have told you.

As BFC x 3 said, it's divisive to constantly slag off the manager, calling him a snake and a coward.

We're in League One. I'm boycotting the Champions League because they won't let us play in it.

You can only aim to win the competitions you're in. As such, I want us to win on Tuesday, against a team who aren't u21s, for the right to play another team who aren't u21s.

Byers has been here less than a fortnight and wasn't match fit, so to claim to be an all seeing fount of knowledge is bollocks, to be frank.

I was talking about on here Wiz, no one on here have wanted us to lose have the? twitter is a different beast, I'm sorry but the O/P was a poor swipe at fellow supporters, all of which want nothing but success fir the club,

Are you saying no one on here goes on twitter?

Plenty were forecasting a mullering today.

I’m not so sure about that to be honest
I just think among the morass of social media of which this site is part, we on here are probably the most balanced and I think the posts of the last couple of days prove that. There are always idiots but the tend to me the ones who ar extreme on either viewpoint. I just want us to do well and today was a good day, but we still need to make the play offs this season for richly to have done okay, and he may well do yet.

I think there are good few very balanced posters on here yes and we don’t have so many of the ‘idiot fringe’ , but there’s a good few on here who take great pleasure in rubbing in a loss for some weird reason.

And if you think it’s frustrating when people rub in a win, I can assure you it feels a whole lot worse when we lose.

You’ll need to ask idiots like Simple-Simonized why they are more motivated by trying to prove they are right, than they are about getting behind the manager and the team, because I’m fucked if I know what it’s all about.

The equaliser changed the game and the players looked like they wanted it.
Now it's all about backing it up.
It doesn't change my low opinion of Critchley and the squad who still have much to do to lift our spirits.

May sound bizarre but I don't really think this result really does Critchley any favours. It just shows the type of results we should have been getting with this squad of players and ultimately that's his fault.

Yes it sounds bizarre…

It sounds like you’ve sat awake all night trying to figure out a way to squeeze something negative out of a positive result 😉

Not really because it was Dougall beforehand. The idea is to have three solid midfielders to win the midfield battles.

Therefore a million miles away from being bollocks.

We've known Dougall was going for weeks and apart from 2 mins in that cup you can't stand he hasn't played. You said we'd get beat yesterday. We didn't. Just own you got it wrong. I'd have much more respect than this I know football crap you keep spouting.

I quite like having an away result rammed down my throat. Shame it hasn’t happened often enough to be honest. I call for more ramming! What do we want? Ramming!! When do we want it ? NOW!!! The timing is excellent what with rainbow footballs and all.

#youFckkngToldMeSo 😂

I feel sorry for your lad. I can imagine the conversations he has....

ATG Junior: Morning pal
Pal: Morning ATGJ. Good win for the Pool at Peterborough, wasn't it?
ATGJ: Yep, sounded good on the radio, I just wish my dad wouldn't spoil it.
Pal: How do you mean?
ATGJ: He's obsessed with posting negative shit on AVFTT. Before every match he's always saying we'll struggle at best and probably lose.
10 minutes in, the game's still developing, and he's saying we're shit and the manager is clueless. If we score first or take the lead he says it's a false dawn and the other side will find us out.
He gets so angry, he's broken three keyboards already this season. It's just so depressing, I'm sick of it.
He reckons that if we get to the final of the BSM thingy, he won't take me.
Pal: Sorry mate, that's a shame.
ATGJ: No, I'm chuffed. No way I want a day out at Wembley being ruined by being with that miserable sod all day.

Pal: How was your dad after the win?
ATGJ: He was weird to be honest. I walked into the lounge and he was stood wearing an old retro Blackpool Mechanics shirt with Baresi on the back and in front of a massive white board.
Pal: What for?
ATGJ: No idea. He’d written in massive words “I am God, you all must listen to me”. Underneath he had Blackpools starting XI with subs to the right and in red marker Head Coach: Blackpool Baresi.
I just walked off as he was already screaming at the white board…
