That ref

If we had lost I'd have been posting that the referee cost us the game. Quite a few inexplicable decisions.
I could understand Keshi getting booked for chatting back at the ref but it was a great clean tackle I thought. Gretarsson was flattened twice and got nowt. Fortunately we scored more than Hull did for a brilliant 3 points

It was Anderson 🙄

The ref was poor, pretty much every 50/50 went in their favour. The challenge on Gretarrson, immediately before they got the corner which led to their equaliser, was a blatant foul. We've had far worse don't get me wrong but he really didn't do us any favours all night.

Benjamin Speedie – quiet game until he made a questionable decision to give Blackpool a free-kick instead of City a penalty - a quote from Hulls local rag !!

Only been 1 decent ref I can remember this season and I’ve watched every game. That’s disappointing.

Well just to keep this thread alive he wouldn't make the top 6 in my choice of bad referees. I'm not arguing with the examples but I didn't think he was over fussy.

I don't think he was as bad as some but I know at least a couple of times I shouted out WHAT! at his decision. And that drop ball baffled me where he allowed them to put a free cross into our box. Seemed to be talked into that by the Hull player talking to him when that injured player was down for a couple of minutes.

He gave a free-kick to hull on the halfway line against Madine. He did absolutely nothing wrong except use his strength. The pool bench were all up asking the ref why. Then from the resulting free kick tjey lump it up to the striker who then elbows the viking in the face and the ref gives nothing. They get a corner in the same phase of play. Then they score from from the resulting corner.

That moment just summed up league one referees for me. So incredibly inconsistent. We've had 2 good refs all season as far as I can recall.

He gave them a soft defensive free kick against madine near their right touchline. We were through on goal when he blew up. That seemed to start a sequence of bizarre decisions in their favour until their goal. The drop ball, at least 2 further soft free kicks in more attacking positions, the failure to give the viking a free kick. It's almost as if he wanted them to score!!
