That's the standard.

We can have no complaints today, well beaten. Coventry are a far better team than QPR were and far better than us. In every department. There's not much point in complaining about the ref or the number of away fans, they simply have better players than us right now.

That's the standard of the championship I'm afraid and despite the result on Tuesday we're well short.

In my opinion, and looking to next season, we need to to think about improving on CJ and Dougall. They have one or two good games but mostly they're poor and cause the team to look disjointed with misplaced passes and poor touches. They aren't the only ones, but they're noticeably worse than the others imo.
Also, we need to replace Maxwell. No-one will ever convince me that he's a championship keeper. Good shot stopping isn't enough in this league and he's shocking at commanding his area and his judgement coming off his line is terrible. We can do better, and when we do I think we'll all see what we've been missing from a strong gk.

The two biggest positives from today were firstly Keshi's appearance - he was head and shoulders above anyone else on the pitch for us while he was on. We've missed him.
The second positive to take from today is that many of the Cov players were recruited by two people who are now at our club. They were excellent, so it seems they can spot a good player.

Why can’t we leave two players up when defending a corner and give the opposition something to think about and distract them??
I’ve been saying that for years. Makes no sense at all. We win the ball occasionally but we have nobody to give it to so it just comes straight back. Madness.

Absolutely, Cov were the first team I’ve seen do that all season. Keeps 3 defenders back and only able to have a maximum of 5 attackers in the in and around the box for the corner.

Both Jerry and CJ needs to stay forward - neither would win a header if they were in the box anyway, and we saw against PNE that they can do damage on the counter. I can understand Rogers staying back because he's tall and could help out but some players you just think there's no point in them staying back.

Agree with all the above...

CJ and KD quite simply not good enough at this level.

Maxwell didn't even command his goal-line, let alone 6 yard box😣
Fair enough, he acknowled his mistake to the North at half time.

Poor substitutions; too little too late!

For me there are at least 16 better teams than us in the league this season but I'd say about 7 who are no better - we've just not taken advantage of our games against those 7 enough times. Wins against Cardiff and Wigan would take us to 41 but it's where the other 6/7 points come from.

Why can't we have opposition players sent off when they punch our players or take them out as the last man?

For the few minutes that Poveda and Josh were on, they caused problems, had they been on from the start, or even 60 minutes, the game would have been different. Coventry players would have had to put two or three on each of them. I do mean playing them in their best positions.

Poveda? Are you serious? He was absolute pony.
