The atmosphere at Bloomfield Rd ..........

Absolutely agree.
Just need to sort out the behaviour of the very very few now, who are giving us a bad name.
Why does every positive post have to have somebody come along with a negative? I know of at least 10 club bans in recent weeks, so just because they aren't announcing it to the baying mob, doesn't mean the issue isn't being dealt with. Just be positive s for once.

Is the best I have ever known it and I have been going for a long time . This is even better from when when we were in the PL and long may it continue. #UTMP
I think Mick it's the fact we have a new owner that LOVES the Club like we do.
It's turning into a real community Club , and for the first time I feel as a fan I matter and its all down to Simon Sadler.
Happy Times ahead and I am loving it .UTMP

Atmosphere this season has been simply AMAZING along May it continue
Need a Simon Sadler chant throwing in there too
I've had this one in my head since Simon took over:

I am a loyal Blackpool fan
The greatest team in all the land
Now Blackpool are back
Simon Saddler's seen to that
I am a loyal Blackpool fan

So build our Tower build it high
So I can see it's shining lights
From the streets near Bloomfield road
I can see it standing bold
And it guides us home down the 55

Repeat

To this tune: Tune

The thing that interests me is are these genuinely BFC fans or just go to get a name for themselves and cause a bit of aggro because I don't think anyone who has the club and fellow fans interests at heart would behave in the way they do.
I can't imagine ever wanting to risk being kicked out of the ground and be banned and so either they are risk averse or come along purely to be idiots.

You’ll have to wait and see about that PF2.

From my point of view, I remain stunned by our supportive racket.
I was waiting for my train, 18.15 out of Sheffield and probably 200+ of our choristers were still belting it out until the Manchester link came in.

Of course they are genuine Blackpool fans. Just because they get over exuberant doesn't mean they don't have the clubs best interests at heart. They likely think it's cool as a number of young lads probably do. Causing a bit of a stir, and egged on by their mates, its probably hilarious to them. But that's just youth and inexperience for you. In 10 years time they will think the new young kids are out of order with some of their antics and so we go on.

As for people calling for life bans, that's just ridiculous. A person drink driving, killing somebody, no insurance etc doesn't get banned for life from driving, so how throwing a water bottle should result in a life ban is beyond me. Can you imagine, "Grandad would you take me to the football at Blackpool on Saturday, all my friends are going?" .. "Sorry son, I threw a bottle of Evian onto he pitch 58 years ago so I'm not allowed in anymore" 😂

They should announce it.....as a deterrent to the litter shithouses...

Do people think the atmosphere is perhaps down to a 'perfect storm'...but in a good sense(as someone above suggests? 🤔) Word gets out in the town too about how good the atmosphere is and some(who have not necessarily been Blackpool fans in the past)want to sample it and so go along? They then find themselves getting hooked and maybe making it a regular thing? 🤔. It almost seems like some are paying their £20+ for the atmosphere and good craic as much as the football?! I've heard(not been going back myself...but it won't be long!) that even the West Stand, who traditionally sat on their hands, are now joining in! That's great news cos having a noisy, passionate crowd is definitely worth a few points a season..

The West has indeed come to life, but we could do without the racist abuse that comes from that section of our fanbase. Any more and we could face having to close blocks L & M

Best atmosphere in Bloomfiled Road and our away supporters have been fantastic this season.
Such a great time to be a Blackpool fan!

Not really, there has been an incident of racist abuse from that section this season already. Not something we need and far more likely to get an area closed down than a few over exuberant kids in the North Stand.
Ohhh i didn't realise that (hence me thinking you were being sarcastic!)... did they find out who it was?

It was v Coventry City at home. I don't recall ever reading a conclusion to it, so perhaps they couldn't find the culprit, or indeed it could have been found that it was nothing of the sort.

No it was reported on sky sports news that there has been an allegation of racism, an investigation was opened and nothing has been found. I have emailed the club asking them to either update the fans on the investigation or close the case and apologise to the fans as it tarred us as racists. Innocent until proven guilty although these days it seems to be the opposite.

Its fantastic at the moment and probably better than ever I would say, we seem to have inherited a lot of young and energetic fans from somewhere, the effect on the whole fan base seems to have inspired everyone.
It's become more cool to be associated with Blackpool as a kid, unlike when I was a kid the club was a joke to be honest.

Some of them were probably kids during the promotion to the prem and few good years that followed.

Also the boycott attracts a certain type and that anger and mob type scene that some like, people have come through that.

We've also done what was thought to be almost impossible the Oystons got removed, we're running things way better and there's pride in the stadium and team a lot more.

The atmosphere has always been good but the muckers taking the north have made it a special atmosphere, scenes.... youngsters love all that, great banter etc.

That's why we should have deterrents yes but not life bans etc, when you focus on youth and building an edgy atmosphere at times there will be minor flare ups or issues.

But we just need people to focus that on chanting etc which they largely have done.
