The best album you've never heard

The best album I’ve never heard ….. all the way through

Def Leppard - Hysteria.

Side 1 ( as old vinyls go ) is epic, side 2 pretty much collected dust and to this day has never been heard.

Little lost on this one.....Is it (1) great albums but you have never heard them....or......Is it (2) great albums that people may have missed?

If it's 1..... it's Never Mind The Boll#@ks by The Sex Pistols
People say it's an iconic album that changed the face of music........You can say the same about Jive Bunny (and I probably prefer Jive bunny)
Never listened to it, but no doubt people are going to say it's a masterpiece.....Add to that......the Stone Roses & The Happy Mondays.....Meh!!!

If it's 2
Grant Lee Buffalo..Fuzzy.....Epic americana album
This Mortal Coil......Filigree & Shadow ....Goth at it's best
Van Morrison....Days Like This.....Before he became a raving goon
Erykah Badu - Mama's Gun......Blues/Gospel/Soul.....
Gabriels....Angels & Queens....That boy has a beautiful voice

I could say Songs in the key of life or Gracelands because of what others have said about them.
After listening to them I might say they're a load of cack.
Quite a bizarre question 🤔

Plummet Airlines (by Plummet Airlines, my favourite band of the late '70s London pub scene) because it never got released owing to managerial shenanigans and the label folding)

The Velvet Underground & Nico. I've heard a lot of the tracks but never the whole album. If you've never heard them try out Waiting For The Man, Venus In Furs and Heroin for starters.

The banana cover. May I suggest a double album best of. It's actually more a collection of their stuff. It includes the good stuff from that album and some other decent songs.

This thread works so probably any album by Genesis because I have an irrational hatred of them. I'm reliably told they done classic stuff so it is my loss sadly.

As a huge Beatles fan I could suggest most of their albums. However, Sgt. Pepper is on its own: in style, content, production. Best heard with headphones on CD...so you don't have to stop to turn it over.

If you feel like overcoming your irrationality go for Foxtrot. Supper's Ready is the tour de force side 2. Once Gabriel left, after the dire Lamb Lies Down On Broadway, the band gradually descended into Phil Collins's banality so ignore anything later.
