I think we should be careful not to rubbish the hotel and service. There are definitely areas that could be improved especially as it's not a cheap do there, but lots of good things too. I've stayed twice and would definitely stay again.
 
Great customer service is a pre requisite for hospitality and this woman sounds like some I’ve encountered over the years. Having spent most of my life in hospitality, I’ll happily go in and sort it out.
 
Been in 3 times this season. Food ok but bar service is slow only 2 young kids working behind bar.

I stayed at the hotel several times in 2019 and always enjoyed it - the food in particular was of a very high standard and the staff very helpful. Of course, Christine was managing it back then.

That's apparently the problem. Christine got the push after the initial lockdown and Mrs P took over after allegedly stabbing Christine in the back. Christine as we all know is passionate about Blackpool and this was reflected in her work , loved by the staff and credited as turning the hotel round financially. A ridiculous decision to let her go.
Now seemingly there's a toxic atmosphere amongst the staff due to poor management with regular departures while allegedly P and her management appointments just antagonise the remaining staff with there behaviour. Might explain numerous issues !

Christine was fantastic and helpful and very professional, shes missed
