The evil BBC

Evil? A ludicrous statement.

As for trouble makers and creating division, that's basically The Daily Mail's modus operandi.
I’d normally agree, but there’s a lot of truth in that article.
The BBC and The Mail can be equally as bad in their own way

I agree that pointing out the skin colour of the starting 11 is unnecessary and irritating. I get that. But to describe the BBC as evil is ridiculous.

The Daily Mail basically fire up the pitchfork wielders looking for the next thing to hate then stand back, watch the spectacle and then write about what this country has come to.

Yes of course the BBC isn’t evil. But this current obsession with race and bringing it into every news item is nauseating.
And unfortunately it just fuels the fire of the Mail and it’s sympathisers.
Ultimately 99% of us couldn’t care less about someone’s colour, religion, sexual orientation etc, so just show us and talk about the match. Nothing else required

Same old BBC looking for reasons to bring racism into everything it reports on. As stated in the article, "Surely, any manager should pick the best players for the team on any given day, regardless of their skin colour or ethnicity." And I'm sure that's what she is doing.

The Beeb is covering the world athletics in USA. Have they said a word about the UK's track athletes being overwhelmingly black? No I thought not. They're in the team because they're the best at what they do. Same as the footballers.

More BBC wokism going wrong: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/20...interviewing-transgender-athlete-who-boasted/

The BBC has apologised for interviewing a transgender athlete who boasted about knocking women out, in a discussion about female-only sports.

She had tweeted: “For the record, I knocked two out. One woman’s skull was fractured, the other not. And just so you know, I enjoyed it. See, I love smacking up TEFS (sic) in the cage who talk transphobic nonsense. It’s bliss!”

God bless the BBC, the greatest broadcaster in the history of mankind. All for £159 per year or 44p a day. The fact it employs Gary Lineker who is the best host in the world, makes it value for money on that alone.

Dan Wooton is one of the most vile, offensive, self centred, ignorant people out there.

Spouts his rubbish on deliberately divisive mediums and no surprise the Mail is one of them.
Wonder if he still thinks you can grow concrete 😂

Edit: Confused him with Mike Graham from Talk TV. Sun’s getting to my head today!

Ok the whole team and substitutes were white. So what? They were obviously the best women for the positions at that time!

Did they ask how many of the team were LGBTQ etc, as it is just as relevant in todays society?

Or have I just opened another can of worms?

Why do that why not just give it to a man of south Asian heritage
Funnily enough, just reading about Amol Rajan, who as media editor of the BBC suppressed all stories about Johnson meeting ex KGB Lebedev senior straight after a NATO meeting, after giving his security detail the slip.

Rajan worked for Lebedev jnr at the Evening Standard. No doubt a coincidence.

The only thing that matters is if a black female has been overlooked because of her colour. If that hasn’t happened, and it doesn’t seem to be the argument, then the BBC are causing a divisive debate for no reason at all.
I agree with that Lala but you may want to also ask if black women under represented in women's football as a whole and, if they are, what are the reasons for that.

I do not know if they are or are not.

Yep it’s a question I considered. If they aren’t making the grade is there an underlying reason why they aren’t getting into the sport in the first place.

I don’t think black men are under represented in English national football, so maybe any female shortfall is as much about gender and colour combined, if indeed there is a shortfall in the female national game that has a discriminatory reason.

It would have been better if the BBC had done some actual research that they could bring to the table though, before putting a racial division or inequality slur out there when we don’t actually know if one exists.

Ridiculous exaggggeration for effect is such a gammon thing

I looked at the bbc news site earlier and the only mention of race was some Tory Weakest Link thing

This deletion of comments by the moderators without any reason is getting beyond a joke.

Nothing I said is factually incorrect.

Thousands of people are in prison thanks to the enforcement arm of tv licensing.

Almost every single day there is at least one piece of anti-white dogwhistle reporting on their news page.

Admins on this forum are a sensitive bunch.

Thousands in jail for not paying the TV licence? I'd put big money on no one being in jail for that.

You're having a laugh. That will be your beloved Russia.

🙄Apparently people, mainly women, do end up in prison as a result of tv license non-payment tho’ thousands sounds like more gammon exagggggeration for effect

No doubt Gemini has the evidence to hand

And still the usuals defend the Bias Broadcasting company. You just can’t see any wrong in anything on the Left can you.
One of the reasons I have cut down on comments for threads like this. Why can't people stand back, let go of their emotions and political bias and consider other opinions?

Yes. The BBC is known and respected for its quality way beyond the shores of the UK.

Thousands?

In prison?

Not paying their TV licence?

Thousands?

And much, more. It's a by-word for quality. Obviously not with you but for tens of millions and many more it is. As I said, the BBC is known and respected throughout the World for quality.
The world service ? Obviously not watched much of the BBC news then.

Typical trouble makers creating division again.

Dan Wooton is an example of someone who deliberately stirs up conflict on the media

Looking in from the outside the BBC is still highly regarded for the quality and content of its programs and production values. However, it is also viewed as an example of peddling extreme Liberalism.

It does seem odd that there is a lack of black/asian girls in the England women's football team. Especially when you compare against mens football. It is worth investigating further to see if there are barriers to young black/asian girls or whether there are deep lying cultural reasons. The success of the England women's team should be the catalyst for attracting more girls into the game especially as the big Premier League teams are now increasingly involved in the women's game.

Maybe there arent many Asian girls playing football as they arent allowed out until their arranged marriage at the age of twelve is complete. Hows about that for a deep lying cultural reason which has f all to do with our culture in this country
