The fans motivated the second half

Again so slow to get out of the blocks, a good rollicking from the stands was the only motivation. When are we going to get that complete performance?

Not for me.... Poor from the Fans IMHO

We didn't actually play that badly first half... They probably started the game with a bit more intensity that we did and a couple of poor goals to concede from us, but we weren't terrible by any stretch. Fully understand the fans frustration, but booing and aiming crap at the Manager ... Nah It's bullshit!!

Deserved for persisting with the same things that made us shite against Peterborough.

That’s utter nonsense about the 1st half.

Bar for the Rhodes chance we were absolutely garbage.

That midfield 3 set-up is utter shite and everyone can see it, when we break we have nobody in-between the lines, it’s just 3 in a line, might be harder to clock on tv.

It’s incredibly hard to be a professional footballer but Oakley-Boothe is completely lost on the pitch & we were just so passive and slow as a team.

Guess what?! We went to a 2 and a 1 in advanced in midfield and would you believe it we scored 3 goals.

The reaction to the 1st half in the ground was one of frustration to a number of shit team selections and failure to play our best players. It was probably over the top but it’s beyond stupid he thought that midfield 3 would work (again.)

Anyone you spoke to before the match was saying the same & if we can see it, it’s bizarre he can’t. You’re going to say trust the coach and have you got your badges, but the goals scored and conceded when we play a better formation, system and our better players is obvious in the last 3 games.

We can trust the coach but we can also criticise when deserved and that 1st half was piss poor 🫣

Fair play, I’m not going to argue…but I think garbage is harsh.

I just thought we started the game off OK… looked like we were on top and the more likely to score until their goal really. So I’m not sure ‘passive’ fits to that extent, though they played at a higher intensity and looked like they wanted it more and for a spell we looked a bit shell shocked.

You’re right though, you do miss an awful lot of the movement and structure on the TV and it’s difficult to get a full perspective of the game to that extent.

I said on another thread, my heart sank when I saw the starting line up as I got a sense of the inevitable.

I get the frustration, but not the reaction…. It’s never justified in my opinion and certainly not at this stage. If we expect our players and manager to have a bit of spirit and resilience, then we need to develop a bit ourselves.

Mass exodus on Saturday…Boos etc last night 👎👎 Nah!!

No, picking a better team and getting rid of the liability that is Oakley-Boothe, motivated a better performance. It is just Critchley being stubborn and wanting to play a certain way, even when he doesn't have the players to do it. That's 4 points we've chucked away at Charlton and Fleetwood that is purely down to his selection, substitutions and tactics. Critchley mk1 was new to management and could be forgiven, this version has less excuses. Play your best team Neil, a decent manager once said "football is a simple game, complicated by fools", I think he had a point.
