Where has the flag gone?
I did ask this last season and was politely told that we could not get volunteers to wrap it up at the end of its journey.
Was it not financed by generous supporters?
I did not contribute myself but had I have done I would want to see it.

Mick, who has organised flying it for years, announced ages ago he needs a break and asked for volunteers to fly it.

Step forward, fill your boots, knock yourself out. As for the suggestion of subterfuge… the flag has not been nicked, knobbled or otherwise.

I had decided to stop flying the flag as I had been doing it for 15 years and thought it was time for the younger element of our fans to take over.Steve Rowland put out a request for volunteers in the summer and no one has offered . I even suggested the other week if someone is flying the flag I will help out over the transition period . I think the club needs to get involved in asking for people to fly it .

Why BST it doesn't need them just half a dozen people who can organise and fly a flag ,like I said if the club got involved with trying to get them it would help. Shame if no one takes it on ,quite a few of us dedicated time and effort in raising funds for it.

I meant to ask for volunteers. Isn't that the kind of thing they were set up to get involved with?

Not being funny but the request went out on Facebook ,Twitter via the SLO I would have thought this would have been enough to get some volunteers . Such a shame really as it is a great flag and looks great when its flown.

It’s a shame we can’t get it out there again. No flag, a terrible PA system (in the south at least) really doesn’t get us going for the boys coming out. Especially when the visitors have 1800+ and make some noise!

Surely the guys that take down the netting prior to kick off could collect it?

Shame if we can’t sort something.

The netting hasn't gone up this season, just fans warned to keep aware.

Loco the reality is that many don't want to commit to anything
That's no a criticism rather an observation
Hence the lack of response

The flags are stored under the west stand and BB3 is stored in a nice wheeled storage container.

I have talked to the BST Chairperson today and he is going to ask about e mailing the members ,I also suggested that the club get involved and do a request through them and he is going to ask.
