The idiot Thomason

Sadly back on Saturday - hope someone face plants him in to the pitch early doors.

A return from suspension for George Thomason, plus Ricardo Santos’s comeback from injury in time for Saturday’s game at Bloomfield Road could not be better timed.

Hopefully the long awaited “Homer” ref returns tomorrow - been missing for awhile !
Bolton certainly had a Homer in the reverse fixture so fairs fair he/she appears for us tomorrow……. Particularly if Santos is playing.

That indeed was very honest of you 😁
I honestly thought after their goal it was going to be a case of how many they were going to score.

Think Beesley's goal kind of knocked the stuffing out of them to be honest.

Nice to have the ref on our side though for once but we deserved it. 👍

Begs the question why we can’t we do that for 3-4 games? 🤷‍♂️

How many players try to influence the ref and it backfires spectacularly. Think ref tried to keep game flowing and they wanted every touch to be a foul and card.

Agree never met such bunch of moaning players in my life.

Their supporters also kept having a dig at the ref when he was clearly in the right in awarding us free kicks.

Ref had a good game today and not just because we won he tried to let the game flow.

I thought the ref was consistent for both sides today.

Dembele was pulled back when trying to shield the ball, but the ref allowed Bolton to play on rather than awarding us a free kick. They almost scored, the difference being that when we were allowed to play on, we took our chances.

I was in the South, so I couldn't comment on the penalty. But having seen the highlights, it looked a stonewall pen to me.

I had a clear view from where I was sat - mind you the bloke next to tends to miss a fair bit :)

The ref wasn't on our side, he just did his job correctly.

I think that's the most positive post I've seen from you (that isn't cod related). Well done sir 👏

We should have had another pen as well that wasn't given. Like you said, he let things go for both teams, but we capitalised on them and Bolton didn't.
