The Man Utd assumption.

Drives me mad that these plastics assume that everybody supports or takes an interest in Manchester United. Bloke in the butcher's queue this morning turns round to me and says ' I see United are in for Mason Mount'. I don't give a fuck who they are in for. During the season a bloke at my gym always says to me ' I see United won/lost/ drew last night. Anyone else notice this particularly irritating behaviour. All from people who have never been to Manchester let alone Old Trafford.

Do you live in Singapore, Hong Kong or Plymouth?

May as well throw this in to this thread...

When I was about 12 (around 1974) I entered a competition on Kick Off (older posters will remember the Granada Friday footie preview show).
Just said great prizes to be won.
Following Friday I could believe it when my name come up on the tele as the winner.
My dad rang the following day to claim my prize only to be told I'd won a Man Utd tracksuit with my name on the back 😕. He said we're not Utd fans, so they said would he like a City one instead ffs. So nothing ever really changes.

If it was Elton Welsby I'm surprised there wasn't a Tranmere option.
