Theo Corbeanu (Confirmed)

3 goals from 29 appearances in League 1 for Shef Wed and MK Dons, is he really better than what we already have?
Like prestons loan signings the idea is that you get them on an upward curve. If he has pace and can also win headers he might be an improvement.
He scored 3 and assisted 3 in 29 games so approximately 1 in 5 games he was involved in a goal.
Short answer is we don't know if he is better but let's give him a chance.
Edited my bad maths/typing!

It’s 1 in 5 mate.

I didn’t know anything about him tbh, had to google, but noticed transfer market has him down as a CF?

I’m not too impressed with 6 goal involvements out of 29 matches, though, we need loans that add quality we can’t afford, but I hope I’m proved wrong.

Having looked at his highlights(I know I know) I'd say looks to be a good dribbler. He seems to be able to keep the ball in a way Bowler can and CJ can't.

We do seem to bringing in a lot of youth that would be the 4th under 21 year old if he comes in and they do tend to be a bit hit and miss.

Gabriel,Bowler & Lavery for example all a few years older we signed last summer and at least there contracted.

Looked at his FotMob ratings for MKD he didn't start that often but came off the bench nearly every game. Got rated between 6.5 and 7.0.
If he's in the team we are starting to look very tall!!
Just need Doug Tharme to launch his exocet throws.
Maybe we are abandoning the Critchley side ways pass then whack to to little man to a more Luton esq approach of set plays and ** it to big lads

Can't wait

The Blackpool way

Might be decent might be shite 🤔

We are a Championship club though and most of our recent signings have been playing in a league lower

Not a criticism before the 'everything is fine brigade' jump up and down in a strop but it would be nice if we signed some lads with some Championship experience
Saw this lad in the play offs and he reminded me of CJ Hamilton but with more control over what his brain tells his feet to do. Could just be ready for the next step up to championship level at a club.

Left foot (edit: two footed apparently, only saw him use his left off the right wing) so would say a replacement for an outbound. Maybe Bowler or a squad clear out imminent.

I actually think we'd be better off with MK's recruitment team full stop. Seems like a younger and more dynamic set up with how they find players on their budget. Lost one of the best midfielders in lge1 in Jan, plus us recalling Robson, and just went and signed a new midfield then pushed it very close to going up automatically.

He's a winger and he stood out for me in MK Dons play off semi second leg. Played down the right for them, but presume we're signing him with a view to the left......if Bowler stays

Watched him in the Lge 1 playoffs - came on as a sub on the right wing - my memory was hectic 100 mile an hour had the full back backing off in the 2 games I saw didn't find the killer cross

I’ve put the same on another thread, but why? We need midfield players more than we need strikers, especially strikers who score 1 in 17 - ours are better than that already. And before people say he’s a winger, he’s not. He’s a striker who’s been played out of position.

Yeah that was my memory of the game too, the second leg. Wycombe were hanging on for dear life but MK just couldn't get the ball in the net. He was all over Joe Jacobsen I think it was who was knackered at the end.

Made me wonder why MK didn't start the first leg the same as they'd been on fire towards the end of the season. Young lad in charge took the basics of Russ Martin's farting about and made it mean something.

The rules are as follows...

If we sign them... we say "Oh he sounds shite, he's no better than what we have already"

If we don't sign him...we say "** sort it out Mansford...Why do we never sign any players"

👍
Don't want no Justin Trudeau playing for us full stop.
