Thought his approach play was very good , just needs a good coach to get him to look around him and his head up to see players making a run into the box, think he would do well in div 1.

I think Critch was correct in that. First time round he didn’t have the potential riches that our dev and academy teams have now 3 years on. The set up is more professional and the facilities are certainly better than when SS acquired the club.

He will know if Apter, Holmes etc are good enough. It’ll be interesting how they perform pre season games and in pre season training. That’ll certainly make an impact on recruitment?

I know Blackburn have a higher Cat academy than us, but the couple of kids they progressed into the team last season probably saved them £5m in transfer fees.

Notice Oxford are after him ...

I think he'd be OK in League One - definitely has a presence about him.
Interesting how that article talks about Oxford being surprised they did so poorly last season - wonder if they might become contenders this season as they have always been in and around those top places.

Manning will have them organised. 2 defeats in their last 9 games suggests they were on the mend.

A talent no doubt but if he hasn't learnt by now to square it for a tap he never will. And don't say 'he will learn it by being coached', he is a pro footballer ffs who is coached every day

I think he’d be a good signing for a league one team. He’s got good attributes but his decision making is questionable which is why he is being touted to League One. Wouldn’t be surprised if he went somewhere and did very well.
