We've proved we can compete against two of the best teams in the league, we've gained a point on three of the teams around us and playing the right formation and with the right players I thought we looked OK today.

However, we have a man in charge who neither has the support of the fans or I believe the players. Get shut now and I still think we'll be fine.

100% agree and had it not been for the previous 7 games I think to have come through the last two games without being battered might have been seen differently.
However Appleton lost fans and his credibility with the Wigan, Hull and Cardiff games - win two of those and we'd have been a good distance from the bottom 3 but as it is he failed miserably in those games and I agree should still be potted!

I feel like we're frodo walking into mordor to destroy the ring, seemlessly slipping past 2,000,000 with sam at his side...

Except this is the real life version where frodo gets gangraped by 2,000,000 orcs simultaneously and sam's nowhere to be seen because hes got another ** red card.

Too many people just accepting mediocrity. If the whole fanbase had risen up at the end, SS would have to act.
 
But we are straining and killing ourselves just to get a draw. Where are we going to get all the wins we need to survive if we can't beat teams like Wigan and Rotherham.

Theres more than hope. Theres some depth of talent coming through the system. The fact they've had to play first team football regularly due to injuries and managed to compete is very encouraging. Get the 3 or 4 big wage established Championship Pros in and we're off.
