Oh yes! She’s become somewhat of a good luck charmFaith may be asleep, but she has her arms in the air and is saying "Sea Sea Seasiders, thanks for thrashing PNE in my first derby game".
I know ! And she won’t be having one of those ‘they’re my second prem team’ things because maybe in a few years we’ll be one! She'll grow up supporting Blackpool. You cruel git!
Well done.
It takes me back but not quite enough to make me want go backShe’s utterly gorgeous!! She looks so relaxed and happy

Me too, my eldest son turned 18 this past summer so it was our first derby day with him having legal pints and we had a great day, capped off by the result. My kids are my absolute best pals now though
I’m 52 and have been a Gammy for 11 years it doesn’t stop me being a juvenile tit half the time so don’t fret itMe too, my eldest son turned 18 this past summer so it was our first derby day with him having legal pints and we had a great day, capped off by the result.
Grandchildren will be the next step and I'm warming to it now after considering myself too young. I'm 52 and looking forward to the next generation when they arrive
Haha I can see why you wouldn’t. Mum and I are beyond knackered. Big sis is jealous and doing her best to let us know!It takes me back but not quite enough to make me want go back

Good on you Mac. We all search for meaning in different ways and I’m glad we’ve found ours. God bless. What a little belter!
Mine are 16, 10 and 4. I'd love to do it all again. Being a dad is the best thing any man can hope to become.
Sorry I didn’t respond last night, my husband was moaning because I was constantly tapping away at my phone (my daughter in law and I were gossiping about some ‘big’ news ) and we were supposed to be watching something together ..They strip away the analytical shit we get bogged down with as adults and just say it as it is.
I’ve had many a lightbulb moment listening to my grandaughter.
Maybe we are too busy to really listen as parents, or maybe your grandchildren just open up to you more because they know you’re a soft touch and equally a patient sounding board.

As a father of a little girl, you’re the one the parents have to watch now, spoil them rotten grandparents do!My granddaughter arrived 5 weeks prematurely on 15/10/2022. Ivy Eleanor Walters. She weighed just 4lb 7ozs!I had been backpacking in Nepal and Thailand for nearly 3 months, but got home hurriedly on the 18th! I did manage to get her a stuffed tangerine elephant though in Thailand as a present!

They do worse than that, one particularly notorious night in our house, at 3am my daughter projectile pooed on my wife. I took over while she cleaned up and she did exactly the same to me, then when I picked her up to carry her to the bathroom to hose us both down she threw up in my face.Didn’t realise little girls do that too!
