What really bothers me is that he along with Wright were our only two signings in the summer transfer window, yes there was Lyons but we had to wait till January to get him. we followed it with Ward & Bridcutt in between windows and then signed Nelson and Trybull so we signed 7 players of which Thompson and Wright were gash, Ward & Bridcutt should never have happened and Trybull lasted about a game and a half. So anyone saying Mansford has been hounded out are completely missing the point of why he had to go, It was as bad a season for transfers as some of the awful ones under the vermin and that should never ever happen, plus 4 managers in one season and the loss of Badlan, Gerritty, the fitness coach & Mansford. How can that be the supporter's fault?
 
Actually think he’s ok and always gives 100%. Could see him being first choice left back next season and think he’d be a top player in league 1 so why he’s playing silly beggars who knows unless he’s angling for a move back down south.

I get that however if he wasn’t as thick as a whale omelette, then he’d have posted it tomorrow and said something more like “going to recharge the batteries ahead of next seasons promotion push”….

The older I get the more I realise that there are a lot of really stupid people about. I try not to engage anymore in stupid or I'd be constantly wound up 😂😂

If he is here next season it lacks any respect for his colleagues by sticking two fingers up and saying you go to Norwich and I’ll go on my holidays!

He been given permission to go on holiday just like the others that didn’t travel yesterday , give the boy a break ffs, I seem to remember Critcley giving a dozen first teamers permission to go on their hols before the last game last season, dont remember any abuse to the players though.
 
Thompson could be an important player for us next season. We are going to have that many problems in other areas of the pitch, we could do without one at left back. I think he could do a decent job next season so might be best if we try and support him.

Whilst I agree with you, he shouldn't be putting stuff like that out when his teammates are still hard at it. Shows disrespect to them.
