Thought the Critch looked a bit down yesterday

Think the venom and the personal insults he had to endure Tuesday night and all week hurt him. He obviously didn’t want to do the post match celebration routine and to be honest I didn’t blame him. Didn’t agree with his team selection Tuesday but then again didn’t fully agree with it yesterday either 😀but does it warrant the insults he got including from people I normally like such as Misfit? I get people get frustrated but surely it’s testament to Simon Sadlers backing that everyone feels we should be in the play offs as a minimum. It’s when it crosses the line that it annoys me because you may not like him as a manager but he seems a nice honourable guy who puts his heart and soul into the job and works hard. And maybe it’s the hope that kills you but every now and again there’s signs that it might just click into place anytime soon.
On a tactical issue seeing as we allow personal criticism of tactics I don’t understand why he doesn’t play Husband left wing back and play the back three as Pennington Marv and Casey if he’s insistent on three central defenders, yes I know it means we don’t have a natural left sided central defender but Casey has decent enough technique to play there and Husband will bring the balance. Liverpool Utd etc play with 2 right sided central defenders so it’s not that big an issue and that’s with 2 rather than 3. Husband is one who likes pushing forward, good footballer who can put a ball in and then you’ve got your three tall strong athletic centre backs. Lyons and Coulson are ok but Gabriel Pennington Marv Casey Husband is the best option if you want a back five, wing backs formation.

NC has broad shoulders & as an experienced coach, he can take the rough with the smooth (refer to our stop start season, Villa & QPR).
Supporters have every right to express their opinions on the team's & his performance.
Your getting upset on his behalf for no reason, after a fantastic win.

Some people do take it to far. Quite a few people, at times. In my opinion. Express your opinion, but don't abuse the fella.

As I said on another thread… Social Media can amplify a very small number of gobby individuals. And there’s always the same kind of characters who feel the need to gob off at the Manager in the ground….(They’re never quite as vociferous with their apologies or congratulations mind you).

Anyone who’s been in football long enough will have seen it all before and take it for the nonsense that it is.

Yep. No doubt if we lose on Tuesday it will be back on in full force demanding a sacrifice.
Patience isnt a great strength of football fans.

People need to be able to drop the past and look to the future. It's really not that difficult if you've got some mental strength to let it go and accept how football works. Of course you'll have an opinion but anyone abusing or going completely OTT is not helpful.

He is a good coach, they all make mistakes and selections that won't be like the 50 different ones fans pick etc.

He is a nice guy too, he does get Blackpool and he has achieved here before.

We should have done better in certain areas, but it is what it is.

I feel we'll be stronger with another proper summer transfer window under out belt, maybe clear a few out who aren't quite what we want.

It's not impossible that someone else can come in and do that but so too can NC, where squad building and the club then has consistency, which is ultimately what you need to be successful.

He's getting the season and probably more, to build a squad can take a good few windows and January isnt ideal, there's still a chance of us going up so he should really get that chance, seeing as he has shown it before. If we have improved in this later spell, which we did yesterday, then he'll be staying and again if we've seen improvement and likely made the playoffs it's hard to argue.

Is he a good coach and is he a nice guy? Only the players can answer those questions.
I'm not in his corner because I think he's made some very rudimentary mistakes this season.
It was a good performance and result yesterday so I hope Critchley and squad can build on that at Orient. Injuries aside, no unnecessary tinkering or negative tactics please. 🤞 for a positive run of results but if / when we do lose let's go down fighting.

To be fair, the North was already mid chant as he walked over then started walking off, he must've thought people didn't want to do the first pump anymore.

Once the ooo's got going he turned around and did the fist pumps then pointed to the badge.

I think Husband is a liability in a back 3 , but your formation, if we have to play 5 instead of a back 4, could work.

I dont think singing Ian Evatt's name for most of the second half will have done wonders for his morale even though it was done purely to wind up the away support.

Tbf he came across as being very happy in his post match presser with BBC Lancs so nowt to worry about.

Really good interview from Critchley on Radio Lancs, ending with a bit of insight into why things might take a bit of time etc…

I think he’s absolutely right that he is a fantastic fit fit this football club and hopefully we can develop together👍

I suspect Critch has realised his relationship with the fans is nothing like his relationship with Janine. It's more like Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction. Janine/Anne Archer.

Nearly the whole ground was singing it to Evatt. I know it was a great p1ss take for the Bolton fans but you wouldn’t have had half the crowd singing it for Critchley nowadays
