Mrs V has backed out so ticket available @ £88 ONO-only downside apart from the price is that it's an e-ticket so you'll have to go in with me

Should be a good night, some of his solo songs were as good as the smiths in my opinion, love first of the gang especially,I heard a cover on the radio a few years back by zee avi if you haven’t heard it have a listen, I can’t make up my mind whether I like it or not it’s just a bit strange but it’s on my playlist anyway, when I googled her she looked nothing like I expected ( a bit like a ladyboy on some pictures!)
Hopefully he’ll do smith’s & his solo hits from the past rather than promoting some new stuff he’s done, I hate it when that’s the case, a third new songs & the rest from his back catalogue would be decent, I saw Paul weller a good few years back & he did mostly crap songs I’d never heard of, no encore & was a miserable bastard all the way through
Morrisey may be a bit of a knob but it should be a great gig , wish I could go, have a great night

There used to be a fantastic poster on here who posted as firstofthegang when they got banned by idiots. Signed off with Hector.

Doesn't post anymore and I think he's somewhere behind the home for the blind.

Nah save your money for Half Man Half Biscuit at Winter Gardens Oct 7 only £29. Don't forget your Joy Division Oven Gloves.

Seriously? Or am I missing something
The lyrics are some of my favourite of all time, you have never been in love until.. well you know anyway
Do you remember the great video of the protests set to the music of “What difference does it make “
Someone posted it on here, must have watched it 50 times, then another poster mentioned that morrisey has a tendency to get a bit arsey about his music being used without royalties, fair enough, great video & I can’t find it anywhere now, one day like this used on the highlights of forest away was brilliant also, even though I’m not a big embrace fan
For me as much as I don’t like goal celebration songs certain ones like the above just work & make you feel a bit emotional, I’m getting all nostalgic now, I’ll crack a special brew open & calm down

It's elbow not embrace but I know what you mean - it's a track that I don't especially like, by a band I'm deeply ambivalent about but it's *incredible* in the context of that video.

Rare Z list moment - Before getting a real world job, when in HMIT I was seconded for a short period to Stretford (LP12 &13?) and happened upon someone more miserable than @bleach51 and @Dave62. Hewas hard work, but did say, "I will be a popstar."

Daft mistake but it was perfect for the game and chizzy commentating as much stick as he gets was brilliant, it was just so emotional, people who don’t get football don’t understand it, to be honest I was surprised how it got me,just a game? Well actually no not when it can make you feel like that,it’s a bit more for some reason

I was going to say exactly the same - for all Chizzy is Chizzy, he sounds fantastic on that...

No I haven't seen the protest vid, I'd like to.

I'v read 2 books on Mozza and he's a little complicated at the very least. A bit wasted now as I think he could offer so much, but probably happy drinking with the Artic Monkey bloke and Noel Gallagher ( who loves spending time with him).
That Joke is being played a lot in the car, loud, just for the beginning.

Almost matching the majesty of the Chizzer's tremulous voiceover. "Castigated"?? 😗 😂

Crikey I’ve just realised it’s 18 years since saw him at Bridlington.
The crowd worshipped him! Literally queuing up to touch his hand knowing full well they would be immediately ejected by security!

I’m not miserable ( especially since retiring nearly 8 years ago…well ok I was made redundant with a crap pay off…but then I wasn’t a civil servant)…just had an afternoon out at Bury Market watching “ The Bee” going here there and everywhere.
One thing for certain she can’t walk past anything that involves Jewellery and Clothes.
We did get Hake and Sea Bream from the Fish and Meat Market ( highly recommended) so it’s Thai Steamed Fish tonight ( the Hake) and Spanish Style Potatoes with Spinach and the Sea Bream tomorrow.
Enjoy your nut roast or whatever it is tonight😉.
Might see you Saturday but depends on The Yorkshire Family’s seating arrangements.

Anyone else go? Absolutely superb Moz
Yep. The new songs are really good. Lots of Smith's songs as well. Enjoyed it, as ever. Thank fuck those dickheads at the end, getting on stage didn't do it at the start or else it would have been a short gig. I know it was happening throughout with random individuals but there seemed a lot at the end. Gigs like that belong in the Empress.

Mozzer was on top form tonight. He was almost in a good mood. Good setlist with lots of favourites and his voice held out well. The get up on stage and hug Mozzer thing isn't really understood by venues and I thought security a bit heavy handed but you can understand them not wanting to take chances.

To be fair he was good despite playing a couple of obscure tracks. I didn't know Jack Kerouac came from Bispham 🤔.

Loved the Ena Sharples t-shirt as well 👍
