Tier 2 support

Anyone else find it galling that as now London is in tier 2 the government decide to offer support to all businesses and workers in tier 2 areas. Considering how the government treated Manchester and the meagre amounts offered to us and Yorkshire it shows you exactly where the governments priorities lie. Surely now there is no reason for us not to split the nation in 2 and have a parliament in the North running and making the decisions for the North.

Tier 2 support

What about support for my area? 😉 We are currently still in Tier One. I agree that London has always got favourable treatment.

Cumbria needs suooort in Tier 1 because most of their hospitality business is from locked down tier 3.

Mess, innit?

The Chancellor didn't seem to say anything about support for Tier 3 businesses that remain open but have been badly affected by the loss of business, particularly in tourist areas such as Blackpool..

And what about a hairdressing grant and some shower gel for the shadow Chancellor

The schemes have barely been operational for a week or so...I'd imagine it has far more to do with feedback from constituents via local MP's than this pathetic North/South conspiracy bollocks.

Of course it will suit Labour to create the illusion of some kind of N/S divide in order to try and win back lost seats.

One of the Fylde MPs has just asked RS this very question and he said that some of the money given to the council should be used for that very purpose.
