At Manchester airport.

What's the favourite way to get to the Airport?

Taxi, train, drive and park...any other options.

I'm going next week and am undecided.

I usually find it's cheaper and easier to drive to the Lake District than charter a flight from Manchester to Carlisle
 
Always a Taxi class it as part of the holiday price.
Waiting for you when landed outside no messing about with a car or train(which is useless if you've a early/late flights) straight home.

Worth every penny.
 
Taxi or no.313 Stagecoach bus.

….mind you we do live about 4 miles from the Airport.
….the 313 is not a joke by the way,bus stop is a 5 minute walk from our house and 15 minutes on the bus to the bus station at the Airport and runs every 30 minutes….and free to us OAPs after 9 30 and all weekend……only snag is the luggage.😂.

pet hate is the charges for dropping off or picking up the airport charge….total rip off and almost unavoidable.
 
On a long weekend trip its cheaper to park in the airport long stay. Just had 4 days in Porto, and parking was £50 in Terminal 3 multi storey with discount through work.
 
Meet and greet service £90.00 was very convenient rang them on the way there collected my car as I arrived rang when I landed car was there when I got out worked really well would definitely use again
 
I usually get a taxi but last week went to Dublin for 2 days and opted for the short stay car park at terminal 1 though we departed from terminal 3 it’s only a 5 minute walk under cover .I found this to be very easy
 
Last time I parked at Manchester Airport in the multi storey car park I drove around for ages looking at the screens to see if there were any spaces. Finally found a rather restricted one & dumped it there. Wife was having kittens waiting with the luggage. We just made it. Taxi in future.

Always park. Quite like getting into my own car at the airport. After all your motor is like an extension of your home.
 
I usually go by train but as I had the full family I Prearranged parking at the airport a few weeks ago through the official manc airport website. Cost about 70 quid for 9 days (online discount). Very quick and easy system, and had no complaints.

We’ve just used Dawsons and on our return a guy from a stratford(Manchester) forgot the name of his company come to pick us up in his own company’s mini bus
Told us he was called by Dawsons as they didn’t have any drivers
