To the Wigan fans in the wrong end..

They were in the west and celebrated the equaliser verbosely leading to one or two insisting they were ejected by the stewards.

When this did not seem to be happening some of our fans ‘assisted’ in their removal.

This seemed to lead to the 🔔🔚 invading the pitch.

However once he was near the west and saw some of our larger fans his speed seemed to desert him and he seemed to be hoping for his interception. 🤣🤣

He did hang around waiting for the stewards...

Got a fair share of knobheads in their fanbase have Wigan. Looked like it was kicking off a bit after their equaliser down by the south stand.

How is this still happening? There were a group of 8-10 younger Leyton Orient fans in Block C in the North who politely got told to leave for their own safety. They arrived 10 mins into the game and were showed to seats by a steward which stood out like a sore thumb.

To be fair, because of their hi-vis vests, I rather think it inevitable they will stand out like a sore thumb. Maybe if the stewards were kitted out with vests which were less comparable to a sore thumb, but maybe, instead, ones which more closely resembled another bodily digit, such as a badly aching toe (i.e., less conspicuous) the problem wouldn't have arisen ...

Did the West stand invaders get pelted with Werthers Originals?

From Block J, it looked like a female steward giving chase. I sort of understand now why he was running across, but definitely know his reluctance to jump over the wall and into the West.

The lad running across the pitch looking to take on the family stand made me laugh , obviously expected to be stopped before he reached the stand. He wasn't and he got to the hoardings and sh!t himself. Imagine then being dragged out and fined whilst hearing the homes fan erupting after scoring a late winner. Poor chap 😂

He was sat in the back of a police van outside their South entrance as we came out. A few gave the back of the van a little tap 😂😂

Anyone else see 2 Youth's have a set to outside the North West Corner as we were filling out? Didnt look to be football related, no colours and one had a balaclava on, just a weird spot to start knocking the sh1t out of each other

I thought it was hilarious watching that steward chasing him. His tabbard was flying in the wind. It looked like he was being pursued by superman
So what was it, exactly, that led to a certain Mr K Oyston (or 'superman', as you refer to him) becoming involved in this rather unfortunate episode? Perhaps he thought by intervening and attempting a citizen's arrest, he might just find redemption in the hearts of some of the Blackpool faithful. Who knows...

They have the power to reduce capacity though…… indeed 10% has been knocked off the away capacity already by the licensing department because of constant standing in the aisles
Yes, the licensing department has that power but that's council employees implementing safety rules & regs, not councillors, as was stated.
