Let’s lighten things up a bit.

Am hoping nobody is going to carry a heavy sense of disappointment around with them for too long.

So what you all up to tonight ?

I’m currently making a Hungarian goulash for me and my daughter for later.

Giving it out a bit ‘nicely’ on avftt.

And floating around happily listening to Heart FM because its weekend again ☺️

What you guys up to now and later ? Any weekend plans ?

I’m actually going to that new Arcade Club near the stadium tonight and I’m actually looking forward to it 🙂

Made a bol sauce in the slow cooker. Glass or two of wine and watching Lancashire T20 in an hour. Love Friday evenings.
 
Clocked off from work and soaking up the 30C heat in West Berks. We're on the verge of exchangeing contracts to confirm our move back north. On Sunday we load up the camper and head for a week surfing and SUPing in Cornwall. By the time I return I'm expecting new signings and a tidal wave of optimism returning to this forum. 😁

Superb ! Nice life and why not .It’s a bit dull and breezy here now, but wont complain. Enjoy the sun.
 
Feet up, US Open golf, takeaway pizza, trying to stay off the booze.
 
I'm waiting for a call from Philtrois as we are going for a work-out with "No-shoulders Mickey" as we have nicknamed Appleton. After lifting some irons, we're taking him out (I think Philtrois has something different in mind than me on what the means) - I intend for a Kale smoothie and off to Notarianni's to show him the The Rosenior blue plaque. If the lightweight (No-shoulders-Mickey and erm..) isn't dead with all that excitement, we'll take him down (No Phil) to the Armfield to meet his adoring masses.

No goulash, just on the lash with 'No-shouders Mickey'
 
Had a couple of pints in spoons, now on a bottle of San Miguel, having king prawns, possibly with a jacket potato, despite reservations, I’m now on board with our new manager, so going to chill and carry on reading Frederick Forsyth.

I've had the grandson all day so no time for sulking and don't feel the need to.
I expressed my views during the recruitment process but that's over now and I'll be at Southport in a couple of weeks supporting the team I've supported all my life.
Including caretakers this is Manager no. 47.

I'm playing RDR2 because you can shoot people in the face.
 
Similarly over it as well now, so going to look forward to a few drinks tonight and staying off AVFTT for the weekend. Glad I found this thread, despairing at most of the sh1t being posted on the other threads at the moment. Happy birthday Lala, enjoy your weekend all
 
Having a nice pizza for tea then out for a ride on one of the Lambrettas. 🛵
Not decided which one yet. Then back home and might watch a bit of the golf
accompanied by a couple of beers.

Just made garlic mushrooms with cheese in my pizza oven for the first time. Couple of beers and T20..... middle boy having his mates round for a 'stay a wake over' so maybe a bit noisy later

Having a few drinks tonight & will listen to Jim Cornette podcast then off to Poland tomorrow night & turning 31 sunday. Have a piss up for the week
 
Grandwain just going home ,opening a bottle of craft lager and watch the world cup of darts.
 
Funnily enough I had Hungarian Goulash with Hungarian dumplings for my lunch at a restaurant in Bradford. I've been back around a couple of hours and this is my first visit to the site since the announcement was made. I thought I'd let it cool down a bit before checking it out. 😲
 
Spent most of the day at Preston Rosemere Cancer centre ( scans and that for my wife🤞) Off to hogg roast social at Longridge cricket club belonging daughters work to cheer us all up.... after milking the cows... of course 👍
 
Just got back from sorting out TSSJr3's Dodgeball kit as his team are in the British Finals this weekend in Keele.

Preparing TSSJr2 to go babysitting at the neighbours.

Trying to help TSSJr1 look on the bright side of today's appointment.

I'll watch a bit of FP1 from Canada too.

Then I'll sit down and watch Love Island and mumble about vanity, insecurity and how it was different back in the day when conversations were longer than two sentences and 'like' was rarely, if ever, used as an adverb.

Initially sounds a bit harsh - but then again, remembering that bloody awful cover of ‘Poison Ivy’ there perhaps should be a price to pay….😉

Plays Sunday, but we are heading over tomorrow - bit of a trek from here on a Sunday morning to get there for 9.

It's a very minor sport, but he's been doing it for 3 years and hasn't ditched his team mates even though he's playing cricket for Hartlepool (for his age range) and they occasionally play matches when he's practising - I'm pleased he's got that kind of commitment.

TSSJr2 has qualified for the "Dance World Cup" in San Sebastian at the end of the month; I get Staffordshire, MrsTSS gets the Basque country.

Not sure how that happened 🤣

I ask my eldest to explain what they mean for a lot of what goes on; it's a whole new world.

I've not watched it before, but they asked me to join them. I'm so pleased I did. #LifeLessons
