Dale made a big difference when he came on for Lyons today. In all honesty the change should have been made half an hour earlier.

Jyons has been terrible when he has played this season so is that because of the tactics, the loss of his dad or that he is just not playing well? 352 just doesn't work and if you look at the formations the teams in the EPL are putting out they have moved away from it and nearly all have 4 at the back. We don't even have the players to play this formation.

Some said ages ago it'd better to have a better quality 11 plus a few rather than an almost interchangeable full squad. It can work both ways but either way we should be doing far better.

It's a fair point. We beat Portsmouth and he kept it the same for Northampton, most had stinkers including Dale.
Then he seemed to vanish and play a bit part role, with Lyons suddenly replacing him but doing nothing really of note. It's not his best side is it...
For me Dale is better than this Lyons we're seeing on that side.
Nothing is happening on Lyons side to create much and CJ has gone off the boil since re signing, although it's not just him tbf, so many are way below par away and we just look clueless generally. But if he's not at it on his side we need the other side to be at it and it just isn't at all.

I actually think a lot of those players are probably really decent. But we'll never know.
