Top 3 albums

Revolver- Beatles
All things must pass- George Harrison
My generation- Who
I want to think that All Things Must Pass is brilliant, but....I like the Apple Jam stuff. I think there are some great songs on it. Do we really need Isn't It a Pity twice? Spector's production drowns the album. I suspect a George Martin production would have been cleaner and meatier.

I agree Spector did ruin the album just like let it be imo, (why so much brass). And whilst there is songs like Johnny’s birthday there is greats like Wah-Wah.

Raven - the stranglers

reverence - faithless

rattus norvegicus, no more heroes - black and white could would and should be in my top three, pulp -different class should be in anyones top three, and it was difficult not to put in travelogue by the human league

Try difficult shapes and passive rhythms, also working with fire and steel.
Great early china crisis 👍🏻
Would love to see them. Very under-rated band of the 80's. Wish they'd been a support act for Tears for Fears tnoight and I would have got tickets.

They were on eventually (due to covid) last march at the Lowther pavilion.
Gary Daly was quality with some great crowd interaction and funny stories, Eddie Lundon, great back up👍🏻

Top three is difficult. It changes a lot for me but these would always be in my Top 10 list:

The Magical World of The Strands - Michael Head & the Strands

Midnight Marauders - Tribe Called Quest

Time of the Last Persecution - Bill Fay

I got to work on Records by Mick Head and Bill Fay which have been career highlights I'd say.
