Traffic tomorrow warning

Going to be mad traffic tomorrow. The last air show attracted 125,000 visitors on each day, will be more this year with great weather. Traffic last time was backed up down the 55 trying to get in to Blackpool. Every route in and around town was gridlocked, especially after the show finished. Took 4 /5 hours to get off car parks in town, did parknride last time but not being done this year.
feel sorry for swans fans, some won’t get to the ground, out of towners need to use the back roads. Both the game and air show overlap on times.
 
Early starts a must. Get to the area early and get to the pub or whatever and plan on waiting a while after the game if you can. if you are an exile and have to get away early park around whitegate drive area,walk to car fairly quickly after the game and drive up preston old road on to wordsworth ave and kipling drive will bypass most airshow grockles.
 
The red arrows are on at 5 so i assume they finish at 530 so they will have a 10 min walk to car. Im guessing most of us including swansea fans will be well away from the area by 5:45.

Good op, thanks for the heads up. Despite M6 bottleneck around Preston and slow at M55 end, got there early but car park I usually use completely full. Not seen it like that before. Found some on street parking further away from the ground.
 
Can't comment on yesterday but it's awful around South Ribble today. Trying to get home to Ribbleton From church in Bamber Bridge and the M6, A6 & B5268 are all gridlocked, taken me 50 minutes to get from Fourfields roundabout to Capitol Centre
