What has this Cummings got over Bozo? It must be big.

This is an absolute car crash.

The most embarrassing and inept performance from a PM there has ever been. I can barely watch this.

There must be thousands of households where both parents had Covid19 and stayed at home with their children. He is going to get slaughtered after this.
 
The media let us down there. Didn't ask the right questions and when they did they just let him off the hook. The BBC guy got closest when asking about the trip to Bernard castle and did Johnson himself know and approve about the journey to Durham in advance. Johnson didn't answer the questions at all and then wasn't redirected to them on the come back.
 
He has gone right down in my estimations after that.

Didn't answer any of the questions and clearly sounded like he was struggling.

What makes it worse is that despite Cummings and his wife testing positive they were willing to let his parents look after their child. Surely they must be elderly and high risk yet he was willing to give them a child where both parents had tested positive.

What a load of tripe and when/if hard evidence comes out that Cummings did go to Barnard castle then the shit is really gonna hit the fan.

Where, in the official Government lockdown guidance does it state that travel to a second residence, regardless of the distance, is permissable when you exhibit Covid-19 symptoms and you have childcare issues?
 
That was the most embarrassing lying performance l have ever seen in my lifetime! It was upsetting for all those people who have lost their loved ones not even being able to see them take their last breaths at distance, or being able to bury them as a family with dignity. If the leader of the country can't back the public over a single individual who has without doubt broken the guidelines that millions of people have adhered to, what chance do we have in beating this enemy?
 
I'm genuinely shocked at what I've just witnessed. When the briefing was delayed and they said Bozo was to do it, I was convinced he would be announcing DC's resignation or sacking.

For him to fully support DC using the word integrity is astounding. Adios Bozo.
 
I’m livid after watching that.
Two adults who considered that they were both carriers of the virus chose to travel. And long distances and therefore making contact along the journey were all likely. At every touch point there was the chance it would be transferred.
And knowing they were ill, they took the chance that it might develop into a serious condition. Which would have required contact with frontline health care staff and taking up beds in an area that was not yet geared up to cope with peak exposure.
It’s appalling that he’s been defended.

That performance will come back to haunt him and likely cost him his Premiership

I’m just as annoyed as you Athens. However like you I’m in lockdown for my own benefit and no one else’s. I won’t be emerging until my and Mrs gofor are as safe as we can be. Cummings should be sacked but we don’t really care, as long as he doesn’t try to come and stay with us.😜

A 'like' of your post really doesn't do it does it? Like you, I'm raging at the monstrosity of this injustice and my telly is signing with relief I didn't boot the hell out of it but I take comfort in 'Time' as it is the master of us all. It exposes them for what they are and they will be washed away as scum on an outgoing tide. So smile, it'll be a new day tomorrow🙂

I agree, Lala, this goes beyond anything I can remember, I am seriously upset. You all know my political views, but have always taken being on the wrong side on the chin, fair does. But this is an affront to voting. An unelected advisor can do what he likes, and potentially bring down a PM?? WTF

Only saw the last couple of minutes of it as I no longer bother with them. However, this isn't going to go away[nor should it] and the PM is in danger of making this bigger than the virus itself. He and everyone else need to focus on doing everything they can to try and eradicate the virus. Cummings is becoming too big a distraction and whether he's guilty or not [he is - it's just a play on words being used as an excuse] Cummings needs to offer his resignation and it be accepted or if not he needs to be sacked. Both PM and Cummings need to do what is right for both the party and the country. And it would be the same no matter which party was in power.

Just noted my post includes Ollygons post. A mistake on my part. Didn't mean to reference any other post.
