Well considering it got up to 6 degrees the day it was off and only got as low as minus 1 overnight I wouldn’t rule anything out

It didn't, it was 2 or 3 degrees tops for a bit, after being minus 1 or 2 for many hours overnight.

In the sun it'll feel warmer but most of the stadium wasn't in it.

After a week or so of sub-zero temperatures and heat rises so any warmth that day would have had to defy Physics to penetrate the frozen ground.
