Two centre halves required..... two centre halves delivered.

I swear some fans would be happier supporting those jokers up the prom, they love signing players the wrong side of 30 who's best days are well behind them whose abilities will only deteriorate further.

And look at how well that works at getting out of League One.......

They weren't defensive players

So bang ....

Bang back. You're theory was that we shouldn't sign inexperienced players. Doesn't matter what position were talking about, you're theory would still apply. Centre Back, Midfield, Keepers or whether its someone employed to look after the club cat.

But if it makes you feel taller, then that's lovely.

No my point is about having a strong experienced spine to the team

I can't think of one successful club in the history of association football that has won things without that

I’ve come to the conclusion Phil knows absolutely sweet F all about football. Just my opinion of course but it’s equally as valid as any of the nonsense he’s been spouting.

Based on what?

Instead of sweeping statements debate the points
You’re saying the 2 International Defenders we signed yesterday - one of which has 155+ career games in top division football and both of which represent International teams of a fairly decent stature aren’t the answer to our defensive frailties yet any unnamed League 1 defender as long as they’ve got a handful of appearances to their name is the answer to the same question.

Thats what I base my opinion on. My opinion is based on your opinions and standpoints being illogical and absurd

Nope I'm not saying that

You can get exemptions for athletes isolating when entering the country. They have been doing it for months with some of the boxers coming in from abroad. Not sure what the criteria is.

International level??

3 friendly appearances between them and neither in their current national squads
I don't suppose the main factor here is whether they make it in their respective national teams or not. I'm just hoping that when they get their chance in a Blackpool shirt they grab it with both hands.
Now if either goes on to get call ups to their national teams over the course of this season , then it will obviously be a measure of their form playing for us . I'm hoping that will be the case anyway!

Just looking forward to seeing an opposition corner come into our box and one of our players winning a header. So many goals like the Gillingham and Lincoln ones have been down to not winning either the first header, second header or even the third in the case of Gillingham's first goal.

I can definitely understand your concern Phil. It's a nice idea to always be looking at developing players, but in the real world there's also a need for developed players too. Still too many fans who seem to think you win prizes for looking good and that defeats can be justified if you moan enough about the oppositions 'unfair' tactics. We're still missing the powerful midfielder that we've lacked for a good few seasons now...
I'd add that fans often get caught up in the modern-day world of FIFA, YouTube clips and believing that being a kid at a PL club means more these days than it did 20 years ago. Rewind the clock 12 months and we had people raving about KaiKai and how he was going to be this and that. I can recall at least one very well-known poster stating that despite never seeing him play, he knew KaiKai would be better than Ady Forbes - a player who joined us with 250 league appearances under his belt. the majority of which were in the league above the one he'd been signed to play in...

I’ve been banging on about getting a couple of CB in, experienced would of been preferred but we have no idea what these two boys are like. Can we at least give them a chance to play themselves into the starting 11 before we throw them to the wolves. Let’s get behind them and the rest of the lads. We have to trust NC knows what he’s doing.

Have to agree mate young international player on a two year deal is brilliant how far has our club come really is amazing we all need to get behind Critch an the boys now everything is so positive and I think we all have a lot to be positive about also genuinely think it's going to click soon an we will be a steam train
Is Sarkic not a young international ?

Is Sarkic not a young international ?
Yes he is but the masses have decided they don't like him after about 40 mins of football

The two new "Internationals" however are the second coming of Franz Beckenbauer

Even though no fcuker has seen either play

Tis how it works ..
