U19s Wednesday.

** hell....even in u19s the refs are shite....the ref was the wrong side and Trusty pulled out of the challenge...
 
Still cant lose this, we look very good, great control & vision from some of these lads!!! Really enjoying it...
 
Not the best 45 mins of football I've seen from the boys but, and like Tangy says, the ref has spoilt it. He's reffing like he wants to be noticed.

A card happy tosser who wants it to be all about him. He literally tapped the ball a bit away after his run, ridiculously harsh.

Stupid error kicking the ball away deserves yellow card
Thoughtless
Deserved red card could cost us the game
also constantly arguing with the ref
Murphy needs to instill a little more discipline
 
looks like we have another poor ref and a Homer to boot….and that is saying it in less terms than my normal comment would be….couldn’t wait to get his red and yellow cards out.
Have to say we do look like a team who are capable of playing some good football so hopefully we can carry on with it with the 10 men. ..or should that be boys…it’s an age thing.
 
Ref is card happy,never a red,can't refs use a bit of common sense for a change, especially at youth level?. Were surprisingly still creating chances and seeing a lot of the ball for ten men.
 
Just looking at the sending off again. Tayt certainly didn't go in studs up or off the ground. He seemed to fold his feet under him.
I thought it was very harsh.
 
Never a red, a yellow and strong word was all it needed. Far too many refs just love making decisions, he couldn't wait to get the red out.

The ref has crumbled to the wall of noise from the home crowd it seems....

Yeah, live I thought it was nailed on red but the reply is much less aggressive than it seemed.

I like Johnstone. He's got something. The pace of the counter attacks/breaks is excellent. I've seen Marriete look better. Jack Moore looks classy.
