🙁🙁
Club can't do Poulton Pick Up for their £20 coaches🙄🙄
...............

Hi Ashley. Not possible I’m afraid. But if your guys from Poulton can get down to Bloomfield Road there are still some coach spaces available… departing 6.30.
With best regards,
Steve

UPDATE Monday 22nd April 12.30pm

Dear Valued PLFS Members/Members Guests

I wish to inform you that unfortunately PLFS will not be running a coach to Reading on Saturday.

Our travel partner could not supply a coach at such short notice.

I did obtain a quote from two other companies but the cost would have come out at £59 a passenger.

The club are running subsided coaches at £20 per head.

Every credit to them 👏 🧡🧡🍊🍊

I have been in touch with SLO Steve Rowland and here is a subsequent text I have just sent him.

Thanking you all for your great support this season.

Ashley🧡
.........................

Hi Steve,

Just to let you know, further to this mornings telephone conversation,I am now not going to Reading.

I’m going to watch the drama unfold on Sky instead.

If the club can do a 5.30am Poulton pick up and return drop off my for one of your £20 coaches that would be “amazing”.

If you can I will market it via text directly to the PLFS members database.

Kindest regards,
Ashley

Poor do from the club. Even with a £5 surcharge. Always found that restriction a pain when I've used the club coaches 20 odd years ago.

Yes it’s a poor do . They could set off at 3am , pick up Cleveleys , Bispham , then the ground , Squires Gate , St Annes , Lytham ,Warton, Wrea Green , Freckleton , Wesham and Kirkham .

It always been poor that they dont pick up anywhere bar the club.

Many a time I've got back at daft o'clock in the morning and had to get a cab back home (Carleton at the time).

At least BSA start in Bispham.

It's not going to change, just making a point.

Very Funny, but your totally missing the point.
Poulton would have filled one coach alone at £20 it’s has an group of people who regularly travel away from that locality.
I have demand but could not get a coach so tried to help the members out with a coach whilst filling a coach for the club (through marketing the club coach to the membership).
I wasn’t asking for the coach to travel separately from the “club convoy”.
To me it’s yet another example of the club failing to go that extra yard to increase the fan base.
