Sat in a bar in Fuengirola last night watching the game. It was packed with both locals and tourists.
What an explosive last few minutes that was.

Valencia 2-0 up then Real came back strong and equalised with a controversial goal which I thought was offside.
Then in 93rd minute Valentia awarded a penalty. It was overruled by VAR. Again thought it was wrong.
Then last kick of game Bellingham headed one in only for it to be disallowed.
The ref had blown full time whistle as the ball was crossed. Jude was sent off for his protests.

I always thought that a ref would allow a few more seconds for a possible goal scoring opportunity.
It usually happens with corners, direct free kicks etc.

Was the ref Clive Thomas?

I used to live in Valencia and the great thing is a the youngsters all wear Valencia shirts not like over here with lots of Chelsea Man U shirts etc. They take pride in their club and their amazing stadium
They are indeed a passionate bunch who have had a fair bit to contend with in the last couple of years. It's good to see them having a decent season this year.

With our squad we really should be beating the likes of Real Madrid, Critchley ou...

Oh wait, sorry.

Valencia have been in a state for a good ten years, had a half built stadium they’ve been building for years and years, shame because they had two really good teams in the 00s

Hilarious to see Real Madrid on the end of a strange decision. That refs card will be marked for the rest of his career.

Valencia is a cracking city and the stadium is a belter. However having Peter Lim (also majority owner at Salford City) as owner has been a disaster.

He best resembles the owners at Reading, chucked in loads of money, it got pissed up the wall and then he decided to stop.

He doesn’t like the fans, the fans hate him. His daughter is involved and cheerfully told the fans along the lines of it’s our club, we don’t care what you think.

Last season it took a number of youngsters to come into the team late on to save them from relegation. Good to see they are doing better this season
