Valhalla ride named best in the world

Weird it wins the award then, although seen a review on YT and it was full of praise. 🤷
It's a great ride don't get me wrong. But I think journey to Atlantis is slightly better. But is what it is. Just ride it pal only way to find out.

I will at some point, just found it interesting supposed experts had voted it the best.

I think it's similar to the fact every chippy has awards on their walls. Gold award from the St Barts Choir etc
Yeah, but it did say industry awards.

Tbf I don't think they specified the industry, could be the manufacturing industry...

"Burtons biscuits have awarded valhalla..."

Sit down and get pissed on for 7 minutes after which you feel sick and there is the sound of women screaming. Reminds me of a stag weekend I had the misfortune to go on.

Anyone been on it since it was redeveloped?
Yes it didn't seem that much different to be honest and you get just as wet. I think it's more entertaining just standing watching the ones who thought they didn't need a poncho coming out the other end! I also jump in the boat immediately take shoes and socks off and stuff them under my poncho then get told off when we get out. Better than having soaking shoes. I'm not say I was very disappointed I really expected something far better giving how long it's taken them to rejuvenate it. The kids loved it though and wanted to go again thankfully I managed to persuade them out of it

You sit in a boat mate.. Where do u live now as read a few of your posts. Outside the UK I presume?.
Been in Brazil for three years and before that I lived in Newquay for twenty, it’s a long time since I lived in Blackpool and watched em regularly but still love my hometown club🧡

Yeah, that would be good but they’re in Argentina 🤔😂😂

My local team are Coritiba who are gonna get related this season but it’s a fantastic day out with the best fans I’ve l ever seen in the flesh, you may also be pleased to know that they beat Athlético Paranaese, Curitibas other big club, in the local derby last weekend where Fernandinho used too and now plays for again.

Best ride I've been on is It's A Small World at Disney. As an adult you are so geared up to it being, I suppose, time consuming and nice and cute water based ride for toddlers upto age 21, then it drops 2 feet without warning. Nearly pooped myself.

Bluto's at IOA in Florida is the best.
it's certainly the wettest and yep great fun.

My personal favourite is the Hulk also at IOA. Not a water ride of course. Jeez, I'm getting on a bit now but hope I've still got one more Florida holiday in me doing all the rides. I know some hate Orlando but I LOVE IT.

Have you been on Velocicoaster? It's unbelievable.

Yep, also love Orlando heading back there in a few weeks for Halloween Horror nights then a couple of theme parks up the East coast (6 Flags, Hershey Park).

nope, where's that? Done Orlando and the theme parks 5 times and love them but it's ten years since last there. My lad is desperate to go to 6 Flags.

Was at 6 flags not long ago.. Has millennium force etc... Only problem is its hard to get too.. I flew into Detroit then went from there... Like said on here islands of adventure is miles better velocicoaster in the dark it the best coaster by miles. Plus you have hagrids etc at universal... Again only issue prices have doubled since covid. So if taking kids I would say with hotels etc you are looking at around 5k minimum.

Always mix it with something else. We've combined it with NY, cruise out of Miami and a week at Clearwater. Usually stop four nights in a Universal hotel too ,to take advantage of fast track which saves you hours.

Yeah mate. I'm 51 myself so like a bit of vip treatment myself. I usually go the other way out to Melbourne as love the beach there.. The UK are still lucky to have some great coasters even though I ache after them. Icon is great but still love the national. But also rode sik the other week at flamingo land. That's worth a visit just for that ride alone. But like you say you cannot beat orlando. I'm lucky as visited all over the states. Like dollywood 6 flags, also rode steel vengeance and that hurts. Lol.
