They’re not comfortable in mid table though They might be 12th but only 3 points off a relegation spot
 
Awful decision. Palace were relegation fodder who played turgid football. Vieira has done an excellent job there and they play good stuff. They need a striker though. Seems bonkers to me
 
Very strange decision given all their games coming up after the international break look very winnable for them. Leicester, Leeds, Everton, etc.
 
Problem is too many clubs think they have a right to be successful in the Premier league 😩 however there are just too many good clubs around only what i would say are the big 6 or 7 can expect to be safe each year. As for the rest including Palace if you can survive another year then its been a very good season, if you can keep out of the relegation battle then its been an excellent year, but these clubs don't see it and expect too much.

Whilst I hope the form and performances make it something that some fans would consider I’d like to think both MM and the board have agreed this is a short term deal and a short term deal only.
MM will hopefully do his job, get the bonus he wants and then go take a other well paid Championship job on a 2/3 year deal whilst we’ll hopefully get a new man in nice and early and get back to the project Critchley was building.

Personally - hope it’s Critchley who walks in the door come seasons end. But that’s a whole other thread !
 
They are in freefall and are the equivalent of QPR in our division.

Can't score, can't even get a shot on target, correct decision IMO.
 
Not a shock at all IMO

Haven't won since 2022, can't score. May well end up in the bottom 3 in the next couple of weeks if they continue.

Doubt it, not popular with fans at Villa, very aloof with both players and fans, up his own arse and completely lost the dressing room.
Probably why he cannot get another job!
Surprised really because I liked him as a player and thought he’d be a player’s manager
Shame about Vieira, thought he’d done well at Palace
