A lovely bloke. Looking back it's a bit like a dream....I missed the Cardiff final as it was my best mate in Sheffield's wedding day and I remember the throng teasing me about the score during my speech. Eventually I checked my phone and Alan 'Mason Kid' Mason, who dragged me to Bloomers aged 15, just texted 'We did it man, we did it.' A miracle really.

Steve Evans comes across really well, I've always rated him.
 
Gave me best 3 years of watching Pool, by a mile. Started in 1967 and nothing comes close. The success, the style of play, the adversity caused by greedy owners. I now work with one ex player who says he was the best, mainly due to the fact he cared about all his staff. Such fun, every home game even having to beg others to cover my work. Yes he could have stayed but 3 and a bit years is better than the other 53 put together. Thank you
 
Can’t stand listening to him in view of the stark differences between what he says and what he does or his anti-boycott comments however that’s not to denigrate from what he did when he was our manager
 
He, like many, left, but we remain. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
