I expect a good few of you will have been to the “Waterloo”. Last night was my first time. Andy Powell’s Wishbone Ash we’re on. A long way down on my league table of favourites but I do have some of their tracks on iTunes. They turned out to be excellent. Well worth the £20.
Unlike the outside, the inside decor is very interesting and pays homage to a vast range of musical acts. It wasn’t packed but there was a good turnout that didn’t spoil the viewing. A decent range of beers/lagers are on offer (probably 50p more than your local) but the service was very quick. No food despite the burger van outside!
Their website covers all you would want to know and boasts a wide range of musical taste. Like the ‘pool, it’s worth supporting but I will cherry-pick my acts: Guns or Roses next.
