What Are We All Expecting from Tomorrows Game ?

For me I’m expecting a big performance from us.

There can be no excuses.

Critch has had a full week on the grass with this lot and the season is well underway.

Last week we were well off it and judging by Critch’s reaction after the game he knew it and was putting them to work on Monday stating clearly “ we’ve got work to do.”

Tomorrow I think will properly tell us where we are.

Hopefully a similar performance to the Wigan game..We really need to change our game plan for away games though..I went to the Lincoln game and it was a tough watch

What I would like is for us to get an esrly lead to settle the crowd and then to go on the front foot looking for a 2nd, preferably before half time. Do not want to see us faffing about with the ball between the defenders and neither do I want to see long balls punted up to our front players.
Well I suppose I can live in hope.
COYP don't let us down.

We're due a decent win. Critchley will hopefully surprise us with a couple of changes and a more attacking approach.

Or we might lose.

Or draw.

A 4-4-2 formation and an emphatic win or I expect certain sections of our fan base to start getting a bit annoyed with the fist pumper

Not expecting anything different, CC LWB, CJ RWB, hasn't worked all season but the Snake, in his own delusion, will blame the players who can't play to HIS tactics and it will be their fault if we lose. I can't take much more of this shit, I've supported THE CLUB for over 40 years, 36 if you take out the boycott, again bought the family season tickets but cannot support this manager, who I didn't want back and may start not going to the games until he is replaced.

Also to add, in my opinion if we do scab a win there should be no encouragement of fist pumps and chants of'Neil Critchleys Tangerine Army' as that only papers over the cracks. A message should be sent to the owner who promised exciting attacking football that we will not tolerate this dross and the manager has to go this will only be done by supporters voting with their feet.

There will be no chance of this. The North insist on fist pumps after a win regardless of performance.

There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so. (From Hamlet)

Goals!

(Two of them. White frames. Nets. Grimmy stood in one and some lad from Reading in the other)

I am expecting more of the same I think, and perhaps a first home defeat.
I thought after the Wigan game he had finally abandoned his system, but it seems not.
I suppose he maybe won’t use it in a home game at the moment, but who knows?

I think he’s made it clear that the players, or some of them didn’t play as instructed last week, he said he’s always clear with his instructions and refers back to pre season and recent games to underpin his instructions. 3-5-2, that’s what you play, stick to the plan. I don’t see him changing, hope I’m wrong.

It's just very clever. There's loads of psychological stuff about framing the way we see things and how we view the world, how we respond to things emotionally and all that.

Then you realise Shakespeare encapsulated it in a single line 400 years ago.
The way I see things mate, with this manager we're flooked, he flooked us up when he left and has made use even worse since he came back.

Yeah, but it's only the fact you care that makes that seem bad. If you didn't, you'd just go 'oh, someone has to be on a bad run, that's football' (thinking has made it so)

He hasn't endeared himself to me to be honest. We'll see.

I love that quote. Lad chatted a loud of stuff but that's a good line. Hamlet...
Critch could adopt some Hamlet in his interviews to break the monotony.

" Though this be madness, yet there is method in it."

"If it be now, tis not to come. If it be not to come, it will be now. If it be not now, yet it will come. This be the goal of the Bees."

I am expecting to see another pathetic performance with players looking lost again. Maybe a typical overlapping run from James Husband providing at least one goal threat.

The best we can hope for is to scrape a win like Wigan which will once again paper over the cracks.

We can't score away from home, nevermind win so have to win our home games.

I'd be amazed if it's the same as last week. Hopefully the players have shown some personality and said, 'look Gaffer this is shit and you're making us look shit, sort your mess out or we'll set Madman on you (player whistles and the sound of lips smacking in anticipation comes closer)'.

THink Lyons will play at RWB and Hubby LWB with Epo coming in. Quick game of Darts will sort the midfield out ahead of Norry. Rest will be the same. It will be better and I'd say a draw is favourite, Reading win second fav.

The only response to his interviews should be: “You speak an infinite deal of nothing.” MoV

Being bored to death at the game and reading the same valid criticisms of the tactics on here tomorrow night.

Would love to be proved wrong.

I mean to be fair, all managers don't want players who can't play to their tactics, that's like the first page in 'Football Management and That'.
