What Are We All Expecting from Tomorrows Game ?

I'm not expecting anything I'm hoping, like I do before every game, that we are going to win, first and foremost and I also hope we will play good attacking football. I want us to win every game and U want us to ditch the awful formation and players in completely the wrong positions. So, optimism at 3pm but ready to change constantly over the following 90 minutes.
 
Expecting a boring as fuck loss tbh.

Will critch change his tactics?

Or will it all click with the players?

Will Callum Connolly be reborn as a beautiful butterfly? Streaking like lightning down the left wing? Pinging balls into the box that land directly onto beasleys head at free will?

Any one of them would do me.

Expecting more boredom.
Hoping for some excitement.
Wishing for 3 point’s however we play.

Unfortunately it’s back to the days of looking forward to pre and post match beers and company rather than the 90 or 98 minutes of football, but we live in hope.

I want to see entertaining football. A win and three points.
I also want to see a change in formation and tactics. 4-4-2 4-3-3. Forget the 3-5-2 bollocks.
If he goes 3-5-2. What was the point in the signing of dembele? Cj on one wing dembele on the other wing would scare any defence in this league I reckon.
 
Expecting to see some common sense from our Head Coach and him not trying to be Pep or Arteta with weird formations and overloads that aren’t for League 1 with League 1 players.

A formation that suits the players we have (which means no Callum Connolly left wing back) and Dembele in the starting 11.

Rhodes will bag 💯

I don’t mind the formation if we put players in the correct positions. We can play wing-backs but we need to create width, eg- CJ on left and Lyons on right or even Dom Thompson left.

We’re completely nullifying our left side with the current set-up and it is actually staggering that Callum Connolly is playing left fooking wing-back. Nobody could have called this one and the man himself probably thinks WTF am I playing here for?

If NC has not clocked that before he names the team today then 🤷🏻‍♂️

Get Dembele in the starting 11 today and Rhodes and Lavery upfront.

If you pick the right team and try and play, the outrage if we lose won’t be half as bad. Simple stuff.
 
As I said on the match thread, we will have a pretty good idea of what the day holds when the team sheet comes out

CC LWB and CJH RWB will probably mean another negative dreary afternoon
 
I'm not going.
And I won't until the style of football changes.
Of course, I like good results. But I want to watch my team play using the best of their skills and playing with passion.
If you don't mind how we play and all you care about is results, and that's all you can quote as to why everything is really ok, then just watch the telly at five o' clock.

Fuck all, then everything else is a bonus. I want to see a performance that gives me hope and enthusiasm for the rest of the season but not holding my breath.
