What happened with Barnsley points deduction

I couldn't remember if I was dreaming this but mid-July last year this story was everywhere ..

Barnsley FC could face a fine and points deduction after being charged with multiple regulation breaches by the English Football League. The EFL's charges relate to ownership of the South Yorkshire club and former directors Paul Conway and Chien Lee between 2017 and 2022.

Just done a search now and can't find anything about how the story concluded?

Am told by my Reds mates the decision will be made by mid May - after season has ended. How ridiculous if that’s the case.

That'd be them relegated straight back down if they went up this season.
