What was said to Sadler ?

The guy was a few rows down in front of us. He was shouting abuse at Sadler and Simon then called him a gob shite. At that point Simon was led back inside the hospitality.

Frustrations or not, Simon does not deserve crap like that.
They should swap the 3 year banning order given to the smoke bomb lad for that utter bellend. We don't need damaging halfwits like that in the ground. I hope someone put the ** straight.

Let’s not forget there’s still a lot of über Mushrooms still occupying the West who hated losing the previous owners, so now they’ll take any downturns out on SS! I had a rather overheated set to with one a few weeks ago in a St.Annes bar, he hated SS taking over, hated Belokon, and thought that previous owners were treated shabbily, I could quite imagine it being him!
!
That's one of the main reasons I decamped from the West. I couldn't handle breathing the same air as the Bedsit shirted fungus brigade.

Who said we had a queue - they're your words not mine?
Clubs will always be bought for the right price - no matter how big or smal they are.
All owners take flack when things aren't going well - even the top PL sides, and labelling SS as some kind of messiah is mental.
Which clubs have gone out of business?

Don’t blame you for that, mind its all supposed to be in the past now, but some of the ‘attendees’ at the time, will never forgive us for ‘deserting the club’! and helping get rid of their heroes.

To be fair you get the best view of the game from the west. But you need to be a good few rows up so youre looking over the pitch.
From here you get to listen to all the great singing from the north without actualy having to be in it, and you have a great view of the game. Really it should be alot more money to sit in the west than the north, but it isnt. So the west is the best. Well thats what i reckon anyway.

There’s 2 on the back row of the South, as thick as they come. From minute 1, moaning about everything and making laughable observations. Same every game, irrespective of who the manager is.

If something was thrown at SS, a 3 year ban should follow and criminal action.

Did I also see MA getting grief from a Westie?

I bet you he's nowhere near recouping any of his investment yet and he's just about to drop another 30 million in to the club.
I beg to differ. He's attracted so much goodwill for a start. And the Club is more professional. I think he paid £8m and now the club, with the outline pp and improvements on and off the pitch, is probably worth £14m. Has he invested £6m so far? Losses are ongoing so not really includable I'm guessing there.

The £30m is a bone of contention with me. How is this funded and the loan structured to BFC? It will be a loan, so when it comes time for SS to move on (things and people change) what will the impact on BFC be? It wants clarification in my mind.

Some people are never happy until they have there own way, it does'nt matter to them who the criticise. The team will get
better be patient. This is not a instant fix.

With respect - that's overly dramatic! SS is a businessman who is the custodian of his boyhood football club.
As with all supporters and club owners, he is well used to good and bad times.
I agree that the sell up part was dramatic and I didn’t mean it.

I’m getting frustrated with our fans being overly critical of SS when I think he deserves some gratitude.

Pure speculation at this point in time.

We lost due to a poor penalty & Josh's poor decision making. It was fine margins today & sometimes that's how it goes.
It's understandable that some fans will be angry (eye poppingly furious) & very disappointed, but it is early days & the owner / board / management team won't be unduly influenced by the reaction the result attracted.
SS should know better than to react the way he did, but it demonstrates his passion for the club.
I'm not one for calling him or any owner a 'hero' / 'saviour of our club' / 'be grateful for what he has done for us' etc; he's a businessman who has bought a football club and that brings with it good and bad times. Neither do I condone name calling of fellow BFC supporters, who dare to express an opinion.
MA & the board do need to strengthen the first 11 with seasoned Championship players before the transfer deadline day.
Let's see what Tuesday brings UTMP
We should have been 3 up before they scored

Of course we would have had a club somebody else would have bought it

** myth this shite
Yes they would

And having done so we probably wouldn’t have a club now

I’m absolutely lost for words that someone has had a go at SS .

Must be a seriously unintelligent person to do that it’s the only explanation

When they had the first fans forum under the interim board Levi I argued in the meeting that they should have gone year zero on the seat allocations, as maintaining the Status Quo just favoured those who didn't boycott. I effect they were being rewarded for doing nothing to help and in some cases actively supporting the previous regime. It was knocked back there and then in the meeting by Bolingbroke and Co, though at least it raised a few tuts from the Shrooms sat behind. They really should have had the guts to do it though, then Simon wouldn't have to put up with some of the shite he has to listen to now from in and around blocks L,M,N

Spot on Mark! It should’ve been a complete new start which would include new seating allocations as you say!

Anyone aiming comments at Sadler are in need of a reality check. It’s like they have short memories and don’t seem to consider what might happen if he packed it in.

Criticising Appleton and Mansford is one thing but Sadler has done his best for the club.

Personally I have seen little to suggest Appleton has any clear ideas of how we should be playing and I fear what may happen if things don’t start to go his way soon.

l hope you sorted him out Al like you would have done in your day!😉

Phil, can you tell us what exactly the board did to make you so critical of it?

It seems all very personal for you, not very balanced.
The board never answered his pre season questions about the future of the club (or words to that effect), otherwise he wasn’t renewing his season ticket(s), but he has renewed l believe!🥴

Has he invested £6 million? I would imagine it's more than that by some distance.

Just watched the utd v Brentford game and watched the Brentford fans after the game and it reminded me of ours ladt season and to coin a phrase I wanted to be in there with them. This season it seems some of our fans are wanting failure and have no intention of giving MA a chance. I just find it sad more than anything from what we had ladt season

From hero to zero. As frustrating as his decisions have been this season he still gave us our club back. He clearly doesn't have the funds to bankroll a Championship club, maybe his heart ruled his head when he decided to buy.
Never mind you can go back to supporting Wolves

I'm in M block, a couple of people were filming so it'll probably emerge on twitter (Sadler's response). 2 points:

1. It was very much 'guided' away not 'dragged'. He wasn't foaming at the mouth, just giving a bit back to whatever the fan shouted.

2. There were also 4 or 5 fans at the side of the dugout shouting at Appleton to "** leave", " you scummer, you knobber"...etc. One of those same fans shouted something at Bowler which was definitely heard, so well done for that, you pissed up moron. Bowler was close to tears coming off, looked absolutely gutted.

Frustrating match and I've got my doubts about the manager, but surely we can do better as supporters. Asking the Swansea physio to get her tits out was also not a great look.

I’m sure Sadler isn’t backwards in coming forwards as Lytham alluded to earlier in the thread. He just needs to grow the club so the top brass are insulated from the masses like they are at bigger clubs by a bigger corporate cushion zone. The downside for a smaller club owner who does care about the football is having to listen to plebs giving it large.

There were plenty of things around the ground today that scream the loss of any sort of feel good factor. The feel in every area of the club just feels off. We all need to get our shit together and crack on.
