And am I being racist for asking?
Yeh, but one of the drivers just had to be that little bit different didn't heTo continue to do it at every game is obsequious nonsense and let me be clear I have no time for racism or racists.
I notice that Formula 1 drivers all wore anti racist T shirts yesterday but taking the knee was far from unanimous.
I wouldn't be an expert but "taking the knee" used to be at the end of an American Football game when the winning team has possession and the quarter back runs down the clock.
The American footballer with the frizzy hair - Kaeperneck or something like that - got the hump about police brutality or something and decided to take a knee in protest during the American National anthem.
The NFL is known for the respect it shows to US veterans so his actions were not universally popular.
You are certainly not being racist for asking.
That is a gross simplification of Kaepernick's position, but do crack on. I like the heavily coded use of "with the frizzy hair" by the way. Almost subtle.
I couldn't give a chite how you spell Kapernaek's name but he does have frizzy hair.
Like you can trust what the BBC says...Always amazed that people wouldn't just google something to get as much information from multiple sources as possible
Instead they ask a Blackpool football site......following that thought......anyone know what day it is today....it says Monday on Outlook....but that Bill Gates just wants to confuse us......
What's taking the knee and why is it important?
Taking the knee has spread across the sporting world as a statement against racism.www.bbc.co.uk
Sorry Trammo, this is race relations......you want the EU thread......But don't worry, they all blend in together and just boil down to name calling.
Now......where was I.....Oh Yes, Tommy........That's deep Tommy....did you think that all by yourself or did you find it on the back of a fag packet?
Personally I love to wank over my laminated European Union flag but each to their own. There’s a few on here that love to kneel to the EU and get their jollies from slagging off Britain.
Not one 6Yeh, but one of the drivers just had to be that little bit different didn't he
Personally I love to wank over my laminated European Union flag but each to their own.
I was on about the one who wanted to hog all the limelight. Not one 6
It's a secret recipe.I hesitate to ask, but what is it laminated with?
My apologies I didn’t read your post properly.I was on about the one who wanted to hog all the limelight.
Whilst everyone wore an end racism (which I think is a far more appropriate title) tee
One had to wear a BLM tee shirt didn't he
Listen Seaside, you can't say someone has frizzy hair because that has racist connotations. So when you're describing the ginger Fizz woman in Coronation street don't say "her with the frizzy hair" because it might be taken as offensive to black people. The world is a different place to what it was a couple of months ago.
Kneeling down is the placement of both knees on the floor. And am I being racist for asking?
We've had frizzy hair. Just waiting for uppity for a line.
You tend to genuflect when you enter or sit down in a place of worship and often make the sign of the cross.Kneeling down is the placement of both knees on the floor.
Lowering one knee is actually called, genuflecting.
I got the T-shirt, as well! You tend to genuflect when you enter or sit down in a place of worship and often make the sign of the cross.
I was an alter server and you had to do a lot of genuflecting.....and no...it's not a euphemism for something dodgy with catholic priest.....
Thank you Giro for answering the op. That was my first thought as well - kneeling; two knees; taking the knee; one knee.Kneeling down is the placement of both knees on the floor.
Lowering one knee is actually called, genuflecting.
So in answer to your rather strange question. It hasn’t.
Same as you and GiroYou tend to genuflect when you enter or sit down in a place of worship and often make the sign of the cross.
I was an alter server and you had to do a lot of genuflecting.....and no...it's not a euphemism for something dodgy with catholic priest.....
surely you don’t mean that obnoxious prick Hamilton do you?Yeh, but one of the drivers just had to be that little bit different didn't he
Thank you Giro for answering the op. That was my first thought as well - kneeling; two knees; taking the knee; one knee.
Different things entirely. Ask a Gladiator.
" genuflecting " sounds bloody disgusting.Kneeling down is the placement of both knees on the floor.
