Don’t think bank holiday really applies to football managers looking for a job - it wouldn’t for me anyway.Depends on who applies, or if there’s someone he wants that hasn’t applied. It also depends on whether he’s available, or under contract. If it’s the latter, negotiations could take time. Remember also, it’s bank holiday, plus some potential managers and their directors could be away on holiday.
Would kinda hope the manager has at least a day to prepare for the window but I digress.Hopefully around the 10th of June, when the window opens
Doubt it, surely they would have announced it almost straight away.Monday?...seems like the club have known for weeks that NC was going . So would of expected all interviews to be done and dusted by now... Surely?
She’ll need to get her hair done and a tangerine accented outfit and then we’re good to go DaveWill SS make a quick decision followed by an announcement of a new manager?
In the words of Gloria Gaynor ‘ jog on mate we will survive .’What if Critch changes his mind and says I don’t want to go after all ???
Serious question….has any premiership or EFL ever advertised the position of head coach or mananger ( whatever they want to call it these days)…I suspect the answer is a resounding NO……and where would you advertise it…….in the personal column of the Gazette with GSOH as the main criteriaHave they advertised it? Will they advertise it? I think I would. Let’s see who crawls out of the woodwork.
Don’t think Villa at home would go down to well right nowPre-season begins on June 20?
Call that the ‘hard’ deadline … I guess June 16?
Remember how quickly Simon Grayson came in? Think of that and shudder…
One worry is that we don’t seem to have a programme of pre-season games yet (unless we’re still waiting on announcements)
no NeedHave they advertised it? Will they advertise it? I think I would. Let’s see who crawls out of the woodwork.

If Phil was in charge of the recruitment process I am sure his enthusiasm.cheerfulness, and vision would have the candidates saying they would do it for free,in fact paying the club for the privilege. The new manager will be announced as soon as Phil has made his decision on who the lucky candidate is .
