Any recommendations - it's for my daughter who is in Poulton so ones near there would be good

Normoss was closed when I drove past at 8am

The Shell on Preston New Road at Fat Mans Corner had super Unleaded at midnight last night, they also had some on Sunday.

I think the 'Rontec' opposite Mereside Windmill had some as well.

Not near I know, sorry.

Tim might be a bit further a field than normal but i came up to the caravan yesterday and passed several on the A6 heading north to the motorway junction all open and all had very little in the way of queues.

If she comes down to Layton there are 4 garages each close by it's ever changing you could send someone to a garage and can be sold out on arrival or had a delivery.

It's easier to list the ones that are empty than the ones that have fuel. The garage at the bottom of Red Bank Rd is empty. But its OK cos Boris sez its easing off........

Comes with having four adult kids living at home
I wasn't digging you out on this, it's a sign of the times I suppose. We will be getting to the point when every adult in the UK has a car, which isn't a good thing. I'm sure most families could cut back on the number of cars per household.

The theory is fine and I suppose you can we you really want to do your bit you could pool cars but when each of you are out at work all day how does that work ?
I am going EV shortly but even then there are issues over the batteries

I know it's no help but Morrison's in Whitefield/Bury hsd petrol and no queue this lunchtime. In fact passed about 6 petrol stations on the way into Manchester and all were open with at least some petrol and no queues.

Don't know why the Fylde is the hotbed of petrol shortages. Seems to be settling down in other parts of the North West.
If anyone is desperate and doesn't mind paying through the nose Forton and Charnock Richard aren't too far.

I remember as a kid, streets off Warbreck Hill had plenty of parking spaces, now there isnt a space, some maybe down to CS and School T in the day, even at night time they are bumper to bumper on most streets.

The answer is a decent public transport system where cars aren't a necessity. Unfortunately we suffer from lack of investment unless it's in London. You don't need a car in London as the transport system is so good.

There looked to have been a minor bump at Singleton Lights Garage this evening, nothing allowed down Mains Lane to Skippool so all traffic going down Garstang Rd, 3 Police Cars in attendance. Not sure if they had fuel or not in the garage, but everyone was merrily burning up fuel as we queued all the way down to Poulton!

Shell garage at Little Singleton traffic lights had a delivery today so has both petrol and diesel. Whatever had happened had cleared by 8:45pm. Small queue when I dropped in.

TAM haven't looked round really, although I'm getting low.
Will need some very soon, only 60 miles left in tank. Just a few trips to BR and I'll be empty.
I'm still waiting for those in power stop saying 'Don't worry, it will all be O.K. within a few days.'

I decided not queue with everyone else but look to top up when an opportunity arose. Loads of filling stations open without queues round Hull on Tuesday evening, so filled up then. Topped up at another filling station today in Lincoln, without queuing so ok for the journey to BR tomorrow.
