Which is your favourite pie filling!

Depends how it's made, but a couple of times recently I've had a cheese and onion filling that was so well done, I'd have to choose that

We had a great fish pie last night, which included salmon, cod and smoked haddock as the ingredients.

Cheese and onion. Cheese has to be Lancashire crumbly and the onion has to be white chopped quite small. Plenty of black pepper.
I was only saying to missy fcb today that when we have it sometimes the onion is cut just too big and that Mrs fcb now occasionally actually peels the onion first, which is a start.

Same for me Mrs Kirkham‘s Lancashire cheese with onions and apple

Nearly 50 years ago I worked for Fylde Coast foods during the summer holidays before embarking on me journey into industry. One of the perks (and the only one) was you was able to create your pie for the following day tea break my favourite was cheese and onion the size of a dustbin lid resplendent with my initials in the crust and I guess its true pies ain't what they used to be 😀
