Which? Seaside destinations table

Surprisingly low for the so called No1 holiday destination. 😮

I would question one or two above Blackpool but it’s embarrassing to be below Morecambe though. 🙄

How weird. Literally just been reading this myself.

It's utterly meaningless IMO.

Ask a kid or a young person if they'd rather go to St Mawes or Blackpool for the weekend?

Likewise ask your average retired, middle England Howard and Hilda types the same question.

Then ask yourself what demograph would complete a Which survey?

Then you have your answer.
 
Yep, it's an absolute nonsense and that's not based on Blackpool at all.
Last two years I've rented a house between Bamburgh and Seahouses. Love them both but Bamburgh has one pub, one castle and one church graveyard to visit as tourist attractions. And that warrants five stars?
That part of the coastline is designed for getting away from the hubbub of everyday life and for enjoying long walks along miles and miles of fantastic beaches and coastline paths.
