Whinge whinge whinge….

“We’re not sitting here pretending it’s okay to finish 12th, then that’s not the case. Critch (Neil Critchley) came back with the clear understanding that we’ve got to compete.‘

that is a quote from the CEO last week. If that’s true, then questions of the manager need asking.
I never saw that posted on here, was it even discussed at the time?

Only just seen it now due to this quote.

Could be pretty significant.

Probably in the same way that a clown living thousands of miles away has anything to do with a committee wanting to be relevant at our football club
We are in the 21st century you know, where a zoom or similar meeting is the norm.

Passion crosses borders, or are you only allowed to support Balckpool if you live in FY1?

It’s football, we don't always win!

That’s what makes the good times special.

There is no argument that we should be doing better, but come on it’s hardly Hendry level.

I also think people should lay off SS as he has put a ton of money into our club.

Be very careful what you wish for!!
I was fuming at Critchley last night. But, as far as SS is concerned, you're right.

Depends on your definition of support. Mine is going to home and away games and being able to whinge without feeling entitled after spending my hard earned for the privilege
Buying three seasons tickets every year, TTV and the international tv pass is spending my hard earned on the club.

Anyway, back to the question - how far away do you have to live from FY1 to not support our great club or be passionate about it?

I don’t agree it’s as bad as Hendry or a couple of others we could mention.
Just imagine this whopper working under the stains with the resources and constraints available at that time.
I respect you as a poster but using that as an analogy is just about the worst you could have done and it smacks of just being thankful(happy clapping and all that shite).

Not at all - Hendry was the worst I have seen as a Blackpool manager.

We are not near that - in my opinion 👍

It isn’t great obviously though!

Sorry but if you didn't go to the last two away games your opinion means fuck all
On the basis that you've only been to a handful of games ALL season on the basis of proportional posting you've exceeded your limit. Can I just say that in all the other games we were absolutely fabulous. 😂

I've still done 9 games

Granted not as many as I normally do but got a lot going on

I agree it’s not good enough - but it’s over the top!

It’s me me me with a sense of entitlement!!
Disagree.
It’s football. Happens at all clubs .
When the team isn’t doing well the owners get it the managers get it the players get it .
It’s nothing to do with entitlement. Been going on for decades . It’s just that we all get to see the moaning because of the internet.

“ they are clueless - they don’t know what they are doing - need to sell the club - no investment etc etc “ no different from any other club .

What is out of order is the very personal stuff .

Be as passionate as you want on a message board, just don’t call fans for being whingers or calling them entitled when you haven’t spent the time amongst us at away games

I’ve been to multiple hundreds of away games and I have never been as whinging as this board.

…and many are coming over as an entitled lot these days.

I’m going to take the 5th being as I didn’t attend the last two away games
No excuses for that other than the others I’ve attended sapped all the joy out of what were otherwise great days
Football should be fun
Watching Critchley’s teams play away is a chore and a sure fire way to ruin your Xmas
Best wishes to those who went You are braver than me

You keep on commenting from afar, I’m sure some sap from BST is interested
Any chance you can answer the question I asked you?

Here it is again if you deliberately missed it again -

How far away do you have to live from FY1 to not support our great club or be passionate about it?

You are a knob mate, 4 away wins in 2023. And you are whinging by the way, oh the irony!

How much time?
put what together?
I genuinely believe we have a squad that should get promoted. His cautious, negative and unchanging style is not working.
This seasons league one is poor. We are missing a great opportunity
Agreed, but we're not much missing an opportunity, think that boat has already sailed, we have been poor (apart from a few very good performances)most of the season, I think in the main, the fans have been pretty patient, but even critchley fans must be starting to worry now,

That’s not how it comes across though - to me and many others!!
I don't give a fuck

Maybe if you had have gone to the last 2 away games you may have a different opinion on it

Make no mistake fans aren't happy with how things are and that's on both the manager and owner

I know you don’t and I do not know anyone who is happy, including me.

People need to get some perspective though!

These people who are winging need to see the performances when we had to apply for re-election. The beauty about watching Blackpool is that you never know what's going to happen . If you want to win nearly every game follow City or LIverpool
I remember that but just because we were worst then doesn't mean we have to accept mediocrity now

Burnley also had to apply for re election and actually stayed in the football league on the last day of the season

You can't stand still in football and the negative attitude that you and many others show is actually part of the problem

When you’ve been to Burslam on a bloody freezing cold Friday night, wasted a shedload of money and been served up that crap, then you can pass judgment on others. Believe me it’s a completely different experience than sitting in Thailand watching on television in comfort.
wow. i wanted to go but my son couldnt get away. well done.

I tend to agree - something to me is obviously wrong behind the scenes.

Problem is, Social media probably adds to it in some degree.
I’ve been suggesting there is something not right for over 18 months, I think many people who go to games think the same hence the increasingly poor atmosphere and more and more complaining on here.

I also live thousands of miles away but I try to be careful about how I post because I simply do not have first hand experience anymore.

I get my feel for what’s going on from this site and talking to my mates in Blackpool but I know I’m never as well informed as those who can actually go.

There’s a lot of false comfort being had out of us being 8th and that our home form will continue. Bristol have two games in hand on us and only two points behind, and both Stevenage and Oxford are more than two wins ahead of us both with two games in hand. Barnsley are two points ahead of is in seventh and also have two games in hand.

So we are over performing at home and still absolutely nowhere in reality. Bottom half of the table if our home form tails off and our away form only moderately improves. Which is very poor when we were told there was only one possible selection of manager from Sadlers supercomputer.
