Whinge whinge whinge….

He was in interested in Daz, Persil and Aerial!

Glad he did as well - but he did take the money and run in the end.
In the end we had the memories he gave us. We didn't have the money before and we still didn't have after and tbh I'd rather he had it than the alternative.

I think we are straying into another can of worms, so best leave it there 😂

Everything I've seen being said about Critchley right now is true. He's not good enough right now, his tactics are dire and is far too stubborn to change them. If speaking the truth about him after defending him all season is whinge whinge whinge than I have zero issue with that. I'll be the biggest whinger on here if it means I'm telling the truth.

What do you mean by an OP titled whinge whinge whinge then?

If it was someone who actually went to the last 2 away games then I wouldn't have an issue with it
I didn’t get personal - just looking at AVFTT and think it should get some perspective.

You get personal - as you do a lot!

It takes time to build and gel a side!

Remember United nearly fired Ferggie early on!

Not saying Critch is Fergie - but it takes time!

It’s football, we don't always win!

That’s what makes the good times special.

There is no argument that we should be doing better, but come on it’s hardly Hendry level.

I also think people should lay off SS as he has put a ton of money into our club.

Be very careful what you wish for!!
Sadler's need to know questions before talks with fans heralded further decline.

I get taking time to build and gel a side but some players don't suit certain formations and our players do not suit 3-5-2. They never have done. To be a top manager you have to be adaptable and Critchley is proving week on week that he isn't. He's needed experienced no2 in the past to get sucess, without that he has failed everywhere else he's been.

That takes transfer windows to sort out - it takes multiple of those.

Nobody is arguing it’s great at the moment, but for me he has to the end of next season to prove he can build something, UNLESS we are staring relegation in the face.

You need to take your BST hat off ans see it from the real fans perspective. This is partly on Sadler but totally on Critch.
It ain't working and has not all season with the odd highlight. Yet he refuses to adapt.
1100 there last night, large numbers at Cambridge and Burton. Deserve better

I am a BFC fan first and always will be - I just think he needs time to put it together.

I know you disagree - which is fine 👍

Sir Alex Ferguson had passion to add to his footballing brain. Something that appears to be very sadly lacking at the moment.
I think other other than about George Best, that is the first nice thing I have said about Man Utd.

You have a hell of a lot more patience than me. I've written this season off and I woudl prefer to get someone else in now so that they can start rebuilding for next season. No point in sacking Critchley in the summer and then getting someone else in who then has to decide who he wants to bring in. Give someone new the rest of the season then he will know exactly what we need come summer.

the end of next season? So what you're saying is if in 12 months time we are still just nothing more than a mid table team he should still get to the end of that season?

He gets off to a bad start and everyone wants him sacked!

It’s just a circle!

You make a valid point - probably the following Xmas then 👍

“We’re not sitting here pretending it’s okay to finish 12th, then that’s not the case. Critch (Neil Critchley) came back with the clear understanding that we’ve got to compete.‘

that is a quote from the CEO last week. If that’s true, then questions of the manager need asking.

I’m in Thailand and watched them both, and I agree the performances were unacceptable.

I just think people slagging SS off need to be careful - otherwise we might be in a whole load of brown stuff!
People tend to be a bit thick. Especially football fans.

The owner's name crystallises the club.

Last term Pool saddled itself with not one, two duff coaches in Appy and Mac.

This season failure to learn from Appy and Grayson's flops restores dud Critch.

Surround yourself with inferior yes men?

It guarantees a definite no to success.

Sadler needs better advice on managers’.
These 4 year contracts to shocking appointments has to stop.
He clearly needs help as he couldn’t pick a racehorse from a donkey.
There is no succession planning either.
Poor all round at this level.

The bottom line is that we are left with a game to start the year where we should be optimistically kicking on up the league, but instead are generally feeling as flat as a pancake. Happy for anyone to tell me truthfully that is not the case. It boils down to quality of football and to results and on both fronts we've been poor for too long. Something needs to change and this daft forum is one of the places where that point can be made.

There has not been enough whingeing. I’ve been whingeing for months as you can see it a mile off. If people want to believe in Critchley, that’s fair enough and up to them. I prefer to follow a team though that doesn’t give a free pass to the home team every other week.

He needs to go. Once you lose the fans, there is no coming back.

I've whinged so much today, but I've still bought tickets to Exeter at home. Be my first game back in over a year, glutton for punishment. No matter how dejected I get, I still can't wait to be back, its an addiction I sometimes wish I could quit.

Welcome back. Funny how it's never after a run of wins. See also all the Nobbers.

Nothing from them after they lost at home to Sheffield Wednesday.

I agree it’s not good enough - but it’s over the top!

It’s me me me with a sense of entitlement!!
I agree with your sentiment but I think a lot of the whinging is down to disappointment at the way we are playing Away from home. Our hopes are raised by a good home result only to be dashed again in the next away game. The home results show clearly that the players have the ability but nothing seems to be being done to deal with our abysmal away form. I don’t think most of us think we should be winning every game, we just want to see that every effort is being made to try to do just that.
