Who has seen BFC play abroad ?

Was speaking on Saturday to a chap who was at the Anglo-Italian (72) v Roma …. and I was thinking when will be the next opportunity we might have of seeing BFC play abroad ?

A preseason training camp or a few friendlies would do

How many of you on here have seen BFC play abroad - when and where ?

I know Alan Smith went to the Anglo Italian final.
I went to the first friendly in Latvia, there was less than 20 Blackpool there. Didn’t get to the ground until halftime as the taxi took us to the wrong stadium.
I was with “he who should never be mentioned” and my mate/his brother in law Barnsley Chris.
Ended up with the Blackpool players, had a great night until that Irish knacker Hoolahan jumped in the bar kicking glasses and bottles off. Bouncers grabbed him, the players defended him and the night ended there

I’ve seen the youth team play in a tournament in Le Criox, stayed in Lille for the week . I’ve also seen the first team play in the IoM , the Manx Cup if that counts

I was on the 1st Latvia trip, watched them play FC Olimps on the cow field then went to Belokons brewery for a beer afterwards. I asked him why he was getting involved with the Oystons and he all of a sudden didn't understand English.

Carlaw Park is now student flats. No money in it for clubs to tour down here anymore though a few EPL teams play pre season games across the ditch in Sydney & Melbourne. My away games are Burney away on the Isle of Man & Partick Thistle.

Good grief…if that is Pete( r) then I have been associating the wrong guy on here for far too long and I should have known better.
Either way great guy and one if it’s right knows my brother too and always a pleasure to see him pre matchand we used to play sunday league football against each other and Occasionally together
